While she couldn't see anything, her entire universe became so much more dynamic- she could feel the soft touch of her mother's tongue, and without thought, she began to suckle and nurse, as her body adjusted to this reality that was entirely new and wonderful at the same time. Thinking of Raleska was still sore - but it couldn't overwhelm the tired peace that settled over her, now that this new life nestled at her side. They could welcome the children back later... for now, the quiet suited her. What do you think of Chacal?she asked. The name was not from anything old... none of her names had been. But she felt it fit... and only time would tell if she grew into it. RE: My heart, my heart, my fickle heart - Erzulie - June 21, 2020 sorrow and joy swelled her throat at rosalyn's soft, powerful words. erzulie stared at her wife a long moment, tracing the scars upon her beloved pirate's countenance with a fierce love. It would be nothing more than a coincidence, but when her name was spoken for the first time- and then confirmed- she paused, creating a lull in the gentle sound of suckling long enough to be christened. She nuzzled into her mother's fur, kneading with her little paws as she began to nurse again, contentedly consuming her mother's milk hungrily. She was unaware of how tenderly she was being regarded, but there would be no doubt that her every need would be met, even before she would have to ask.
