Unmatched Talents - Rosencrantz - June 29, 2020 55F°, currently it is lightly raining and set during the day. Located in Sequoia Coast, seaside moors
As he had promised to Rosalyn earlier in the year, he was remaining within the borders of Rusalka more so now than he was when there were no puppies to watch over. That same pull that took him away from their borders had not faded but was ignored a lot easier now that there was more purpose to remain here than before. Tundra and he were finally one, he had a child here too - something he had yet to tell Tundra, though he was almost confident that it wouldn't matter to her seeing as how Rosalyn and he weren't lovers, and it was nothing but a means to an end - to reproduce. As the rain lightly trickled down, soaking the pale man's overcoat, the fact still remained, he had to tell Tundra eventually. It wasn't up to him to assume how she might feel on the matter; in fact, it came to him to think that maybe it would have been better if she knew before he had asked her to be his mate. Of course, it came after everything was said and done. And when should he go and meet Rosalyn's litter? He knew of their, birth, but of nothing more. Curiosity tugged at him to know, to see, to greet the child he helped to create - but was Rosalyn ready? So many things have changed, he sighed, and yet he had barely changed at all. RE: Unmatched Talents - Tundra - June 29, 2020 rolled a success here mwaha
feather light steps skim her forth with deadly grace, ears slick against her head whilst charcoal lips curl into quite the predatory smirk. tenebrous glare narrows tight on the hulk of his frost kissed frame, quite pleased to have caught him in what appeared to be an all encompassing dwam. both that and the mist adorned drizzle curling protective tendrils across her svelte figure made her chances of success much more achievable as she continued to steal forth from behind. the breeze hums and jostles at curling cheek fur, as if invigorated by what it was about to witness as the phantom ceased her stalk amongst the shivering moors to press hard against the damp earth. pearly fangs flash briefly as velveteen ears tilt high to the sky, having grown so in tune with the sea and her mettlesome motions over the past months it comes second nature to the soldier, predicting the perfect moment to launch herself when the distant crash of powerful water clashing against the earth howls across the bare landscape and-- haunches push fervently from the ground to launch the spectre forward like an arrow released from a tightly strung bow, letting loose a delighted growl only when she collided with the sentry and likely sent them both toppling into the heather, stirring the gossamer dust that twirled along the breeze before coating them as she grinned with feral satisfaction. ink tainted gaze presses with a vigilant glint, muscles already tight lest he even dare attempt to retaliate. RE: Unmatched Talents - Rosencrantz - June 30, 2020 I love it!! I rolled too B]
Calmly he sat there in the drizzling rain, a peaceful moment as the sound of trickling rain sang in his ears while the distant crashing wakes lulled him in a sense of tranquility. The mental repose and mother nature lulling him to a thought-filled trans had left him completely unaware of the stalking new-wife that was slowly approaching. Once their bodies collided, a growl erupted from the man, malicious at first as he twisted in an attempt to grab at whoever had the audacity to blindside him in such a way. Tundra's smell was quickly enough identified for his growls to grow only in a more playful manner and the intensity of his counter lessening and became more so of an attempt to wrestle than bite. Instead of finding himself pinning her own, he found himself below her instead, looking up at the woman who was clearly ready to counter. It was this that he loved oh so much about the woman, despite her size dwarfed by himself, she was ferocious, strong, unpredictable and fearless. With his own smirk, he did in fact counter. Despite his position on the ground, the man reached up with jaws in an attempt to grab her by the neck - with no ill intent than to just touch rather than squeeze and rip with the tips of his fangs. RE: Unmatched Talents - Tundra - July 02, 2020 heheh>:) going off of your roll....
an invigorated thrill at the rumble of his growl, pearled fangs flashing in a grin at his shift in tone upon realising the indentity of his assailant. bold of him to assume his safety just because it was his ivory kissed wife who'd led the assault, and as she straddled him amongst the heather's clutch, the zealous gleam to night touched eyes said as much. she seems almost to purr when he shifts to make an expected retaliation, quite chuffed that he'd so much as dare. a formidable attempt, the strength of his trained muscles working together to draw him from his disadvantageous position with unforeseen speed and it would surely catch someone assured of their victory off guard. but tundra knew him, she had been starkly aware of his skill since the first day they'd ever met and sparred upon the mountain's treacherous slopes and so she was expecting an impressive move such as this. with practiced agility, she'd linger right until the last millisecond to duck from the approach of iron jaws and jolt her own face forth with a viper's speed beneath his chin and towards the curled creme of his throat. teeth would trace the delicate curls, tantalizingly gentle as she lilted with exaggerated pomposity "think that makes you dead rosencrantz, i've slain the beast" RE: Unmatched Talents - Rosencrantz - July 03, 2020 Of course, it wasn't going to be easy, not with her, it never was. She was quick to react, already preparing to counter his own counter with her own. His teeth barely grazed her flesh and already he could feel the finishing move tickling his own neck as she claimed victory. Defeated, his muscles unwound, resting his head against the hard soil, acting as much of a corpse as he could except for the following statement being uttered. Hm... how does it feel to be a widow so soon?He sobbed sarcastically, only her, only she had managed to bring out such a playful mood in him. She made him both hard and soft, capable of bringing out the softer sides of the paladin that he tends to hide away from even the closest companions he had - while she kept him on his toes with her own tactics. It was riveting. Perhaps it was uncouth of them to fight one another, wrestling or spars, or even to have had their first meeting be a fight - but it all worked out in the end, did it not? With a coy flicker of his eye, he waited for her response. This wasn't over. He'd have his revenge on her for this later, or another day... he'd remember this little sneak attack. RE: Unmatched Talents - Tundra - July 09, 2020 her chin would tip only when she felt his muscles slacken beneath her, accepting defeat as the pallid woman grinned her own victory; lustrous look glinting ardently. she arches a brow, head tilting at his mournful cry as she took the time to appear to ponder this very thoroughly. in fact as the moments slipped by and she frowned thoughtfully to the shivering moors, it almost seemed as if she'd forgotten the nature of his question altogether before she declared without a lack of vehemence "dreadfully boring! i guess the widow life is not for me, you've permission to come back to life now" and with that she'd shift herself from her perch and flop into the heather's embrace by his side, nose wrinkling at the tickle of coruscating dust stirring to life at the motion. laying on her back, she'd lift minute paws high to sky in a satisfying stretch, pushing to the point of arching her back from the earth before letting gravity tug her back with a content 'hmph', folding limbs neatly over her chest as she turned her head to blink at him.
it was still all rather surreal to her, knowing that some little part of each of them belonged to the other. would it ever grow mundane? or was it one of those ethereal forces that would succeed in snatching your breath away every single time, from the moon to the sun and the riveting sea; perhaps love was just as potent as those forces. ancient and eternal. she had yet to tell him about her agreement to accompany rowan as far as blackfeather and help him look for moonshadow, nor had she mentioned that rowan was planning on building a pack in the stalwart blackfeather woods and she really ought to. a sigh huffed forth, she simply did not wish to risk rocking the boat when things had been so serene as of late. but she would have to tell him eventually and well, there was no time like the present. but when she did let herself speak, she merely lilted "how've you been?" RE: Unmatched Talents - Rosencrantz - July 18, 2020 Dreadfully boring she cries out. The man huffs a chuckle in response as she pouts off to the side, despite the victory, she still wasn't satisfied. How generous. He whines in a mocking, exaggerated tone. I don't remember asking you to get off. With a mockery of a snarl, his lips and nose crinkle as the spoke the words disdainfully, almost insulted that she would roll over to his side instead of on her well earned victorious perch. If one was to ask if life had changed for the man now that he was "tied down" to one woman, he wouldn't know how to answer such a thing. Well aware that such questions did come around depending on who you spoke to, and mates were unheard of back in his birth pack, he couldn't help but wonder now what his answer would be. Nothing felt different, in fact, as his eye wandered the figure of Tundra... he felt comfortable. Knowing that he was wanted, needed, desired, it felt right. Like something he needed without realizing up until recently until he had it. He was complete. His gaze shifted from wandering to nothing than just her general figure, to quickly finding her face as she asked. Bored, I suppose.Bored? Was that the word he was truly looking for? Well... it was the one he knew. Rusalka is quiet lately, which is good. The new boy seems good too, eager to learn.Yes, quiet was good. Quiet was peaceful, especially with the new children around. Excitement wasn't for them, right now, they just needed to grow and find their own feet in this world. But the boy, he still wasn't certain of his place here, what was his goal and all. Maybe it was just watching all the new faces come and go had gotten to the Rusalkan now that he had been here long enough to be considered almost a veteran of the pack despite the leaders who had of course been here longer. You?Quirking a brow. |
