Boom. - West Tyree - July 07, 2020

Twice now. Easthollow had intruders twice, all of which the same scent lingered, their escape paths taking to the west. The woodland boy was sure of it, this was the same pack as before, but why now? Why them? What beef had they with Easthollow to cause such trouble, or perhaps they were just unruly.

A pack of degenerates and vile beings that only wanted to take and take whatever their hearts desired. The world doesn't work like that, there are rules. If they weren't going to stay in line then he would ensure a message was delivered to stay away from his home, to stay away from his family. The scents were fading, but there was a hint of their presence even here in the meadow that neighbored his pack's territory.

RE: Boom. - Evien - July 07, 2020

Evien needed to relax. Stress emanated from the very core of his being - the little brown wolf was pulled thin by the demands of his pack. Not only their physical needs, but more the mental effort it took to keep to himself. The most recent pack meeting was an excellent example - how Merrick could be so docile in his presence but then turn and attack a wolf was beyond him, and he didn't think he'd ever understand it.

It hurt, he realized. He wanted Fields back.

The medic had decided to take a day from caring for Rosina and go for a walk. Not gathering herbs, not working. Just a restful walk, which he desperately needed. He hadn't expected to run into anyone today, and much less a member of the pack to the east.

They looked a lot alike, Evien realized with a slight smile. Chocolate brown with green eyes, though the other wolf was considerably larger than him. This didn't have to be a bad encounter, he decided - after all, he wasn't territorial over the meadow.

By way of greeting, the healer chuffed, slowing his pace so there was still some distance between them. He didn't want to get too close too quickly, just in case.

RE: Boom. - West Tyree - July 09, 2020

Stale. Stale. Stale. All these scents were stale— except...

West turned as a chuff sounded, the all too familiar pack scent drifting along the wind with the greeting. Fur bristled along his spine as eyes of green landed upon the smaller male. He did not appear to be a threat, he had greeted him first, and one leg was held in an awkward fashion...but that did not mean he was not still dangerous.

The woman that wrongly crossed his land was also small and perhaps if he had met her out here he would have found her harmless too, but her intentions were dark. Their pack seemed to only take and take with no concern for the world around them...so West would take too. The woodland boy stomped closer, his head raised to intimidate the other in hopes of thwarting any plots against him.

Maybe it was wrong of him, after all the other boy hadn't done anything. The doubts would linger in the back of his mind as he stood before the other, but a louder voice nagged him that they were all the same, What pack are you from? He never had a name to place with the troublemakers, but if he was willing to cooperate maybe West would find his answers.

RE: Boom. - Evien - July 12, 2020

The other boy seemed to be far more aggressive in his approach than Evien was. The intimidation tactic was funny - Evien was far past the ability to be intimidated by random wolves. His own pack was far scarier, he mused, a smile crossing his maw as he awaited the larger wolf to reach him. Evien kept his posture neutral, though his chin did raise as the other boy approached, not keen on submission at the moment.

"Ursus," he responded breezily, scanning the boy over. His pack scent was nice, woodsy and rich. Evien had only caught it in passing, clinging to Rosina's pelt and lingering on the one stranger at the border. "In Bearclaw Valley." He jerked his chin toward the territory haphazardly, though it was fairly far behind him.

A brow raised and his maw quirked up in a smile. "You don't have to be so stiff, you know. I'm a medic, not a warrior. I'm not gonna hurt you." It seemed his pack's reputation preceeded him. "What's your name?"

RE: Boom. - West Tyree - August 07, 2020

As he approached, the male lifted his chin a smile plastered to his maw. It was aggravating and the lack of submission only furthered his belief that all of his kind were the same. At the very least, he was granted the answer he wanted. Ursus. They lived close, which explained all their meddling as of late. Green eyes followed the other boy's gesture, though he kept his scowl. At his next comment, however, he let out a loud laugh.

Scared? Of him? He was a twig in comparison! No shit he wouldn't hurt him, he had already chased off what he assumed to be their muscle based on Revui's brashness and brawn. I'm not worried about you. I am West Tyree, son of the leading pair in Easthollow. Your pack has attempted to cross our borders several times. I came to see who the hell you all thought you were. Cocky? Powerful? Or just downright stupid. West was willing to believe the first and the last, but they haven't done enough damage to make him fear these pains in the ass yet.
