Desolation comes upon the sky, - Orlaith - July 22, 2020

set for the 25th.
@Lumiya, @Eleuthera @Pestilence @Fionn @Deidra @Cassidy @Stryx @Dante
tagging everyone regardless if they're in the willows or not!
Making assumptions!

The smell, wrapped the camp in a grotesque musk. She could smell their evidence, prominant within the willows, yet, she had not seen The Saints anytime soon. There was no crossing the borders, or them lingering near.. A smell of mint seemed to cover a trail, but Orlaith was no fool. The aftermath of the deed was there, and was scent of her foe's, a rage within her heart, she could never mistake anything else for it. It was weak- perhaps days.. However, she remained suspicious when firstly the scent came. Only now, did the fire guard confront.

There wasn't many within the court that she didn't like, but there was one in particular that she always held something against. It started out with a petty reasoning, for the simple fact they were not submissive. Perhaps impressing if she wasn't annoyed over the fact, proclaiming herself as the lead guard, and they did not listen. However, Orlaith would never approve of someone who refused to listen to her calls, especially when the time of battle seemed to be near at any moment.

Upon tracking the trail, it led to Memory.

She was a flame, a raging and burning entity and upon discovering what had been done, the guard, was raining hell. She snapped at the foe, growling and howling, letting all that hear to what had happened. She would not let him off free. Orlaith wanted everyone to hear what she had discovered, what she smelled upon his pelt. No mint or water coverage could hide the traitorous deeds the Memory commited!

Forcing such a confession out, she wanted to slaughter him! However perhaps there would be a disapproval for her actions, and so the flaming wolf decided to cast him out.

"Never return to these Wilds, or I will kill you. If I hear your name, I will come for you!"

RE: Desolation comes upon the sky, - Valium - July 22, 2020

There was some noise, it woke the boy up from a mid-day nap where he was enjoying the sun on his belly, full of something he had found in a cache nearby. Ears twitching at the aggressive sounds, he rolled onto his feet and quickly proceeded to go and see what the hubbub was all about. Orlaith, the giant of a woman, was going after the weirdo Memory for something. Yelling for him to never return. She was angry, and it even frightened him a little.

Cautiously he trotted up, not too close to her just in case he needed to dash away and find a hole to hide in should she be angry at him too for whatever reason. Looking to where Memory had ran off to, and back at Orlaith, he looked at her with soft eyes, ears flat and a softer voice than usual. What happened? He had to know, was it something that Valium could do accidentally too and get cast out just like that?

RE: Desolation comes upon the sky, - Lumiya - July 22, 2020

Perhaps out of the all the faeries, Lumi knew Donovan the best. She'd met him twice, both on unfriendly terms. He came off as arrogant, whiny... As if he was the king of the world, when instead he was nothing but a brute stirring up trouble everywhere he went together with his minions. His power came not from being noble, kind or even from being a good fit for the role of a leader. He seemed like someone who'd either scare others into joining him, or coax them in with promises he would most likely not be able to provide. That wasn't real power in her eyes.

So, when she smelled a whiff - just a whiff - of him in the air of their forest, her muscles tensed and she was ready to call on her faeries to vanquish evil. Instead, it was Orlaith who called - Lumi was quick to arrive on the scene, her gaze falling on Memory. His face was twisted and he reeked of intercourse, despite doing his best to hide it. Hormones were hard to get rid off, and so was the seed that had been planted within him. The queen fae was disgusted, utterly appalled by this blatant display of treason. After she had offered him a new life - to find a new purpose!

The fae queen glared at him angrily, a fire within her eyes that could rarely be seen on the peaceful wind faerie's face. I offered you a home, a peaceful existence. The fae spoke, disappointment dripping from her tongue. And this is how you repay our kind? She turned to Orlaith then, nodding. Run far and never return, or suffer the wrath of the faes. She near-spat, watching the cowardly dog make his exit in a hurry when all who had grievances had shared them.

Her glare was interrupted by the voice of little Cassidy, and her expression changed in a split second. She lowered herself to the level of the child. Memory has committed treason - it means he has betrayed us by conspiring with the enemy. She explained softly. I'm sorry if you were fond of him...

RE: Desolation comes upon the sky, - Fionn - July 23, 2020

fionn is skippable from here unless addressed!

Fionn had one encounter with Donovan. In that time he had seemed careless, proud, too comfortable with his own mistakes. If he joked when he was trespassing, it was no surprise that the man would make excuses for his evils, as small things led to bigger things, and the man had shown little remorse for his smaller crimes.

When Fionn smelled him in the willows again- interlaced with sex- and Memory- it took a moment for him to connect the dots, (homosexuality was not frequent in his mind,) but once he understood, he wished to vomit.

At the howl Fionn arrived quickly, just to catch the failure of a fairy flee as Orlaith spat crudely at him. Fionn was not a jerk, but he watched on quietly, complacent, believing this was the right choice. Lumiya even backed up the warrior who was usually too quick to trouble, but Fionn was thankful, and a gentle smile touched his face in spite of the tension.

"You will never be one of us- and today proves it." Orlaith announced, as the banished member fled from their willows, and ran into the darkness. They would not know where he would go, but she assumed that he would flee to his lover in the desert. Memory, did not put a resistance either, most likely as many from the willows came to confront him. The court, the wrath of the fae's, was ready to face him if he did so.

She made sure to watch his figure disappear, before turning back disgruntled. However, she was satisfied by the outcome. What felt like a dissaray within the realm had now been perished, and all that was left.. Was to deal the root of the problem; The Saints.
