Into my garden - RIP Rosina - July 23, 2020

For @Oryx! Rose being a little ass again.

She was alive again. Though healing  from her wounds had left her down and out for weeks, the little woman was determined if anything to gain her pound of flesh...or, blood. Now she was fueled with not only a hunger for her youth but a hunger for revenge.  Of course Easthollow having attacked her was all in fairness, very obviously so, though Rosina like said was a wickedly little witch. Perhaps not seeing things as quiet clearly as others.

So she drew out from the safety of her pack's territory and out onto the open beautiful glade next door. The sun was high in the sky, patchy white clouds throughout and a pleasant breeze in the air. A breeze which brought her forth the scent of a familiar wolf, a familiar taste. Oh dear, @Merrick was sure to have his paws full with this one.

RE: Into my garden - Oryx - July 26, 2020

It took time for healing to happen, and Oryx, as one studying medicines, knew that just as well as any other. She had not only had to heal her own wounds, but those of others in the pack ever since she'd joined...But that did not mean that everything would get better without leaving a scar. And simply numbing sensation wasn't a fix for that- only time could be. But that didn't mean that her job was to just stand by and wait for the next wound to be presented to her; she had to have her medicines ready pre-emptively.

She'd found most of what she'd wanted and expected to find within the grasslands that she lived, but found herself branching a bit further from the pack's territories in search of things that needed shade, things that wanted more acidic ground...Plants that would not grow inside Easthollow's claimed pack territory. So she went searching, eyes bright, ears flicking with defensive apprehension, as this was all just a little bit outside her comfort zone.

Searching, hunting. The little herbalist kept her attention to the ground as she sought out her herbs and Rosina sought out her. She could see the dark little fae in the distance with that familiar paled nape. Rosina's little palad frame remained low, intent on gaining her fair share of blood in return for the mass amount which had been spilt of her own. After all, Rosina had not hurt the child of Easthollow- had not even touched a hair on his head! Chasing her out had not been enough, they wanted blood. But who could blame the Hollow wolves? Rosina wanted blood too.

And with a little growling purr of pleasure, the lithe woman sprung from her placement, aiming not yet to attack, but to cut the other woman off, to freeze Oryx with her arrival. Hello there, little crow. She coos, brightened blue ends widening with hungry desire.

RE: Into my garden - Oryx - August 01, 2020

There was a sudden rustle in the grass and even before the white witch's feet hit the ground, Oryx had scurried back a few paces, lowering herself into a defensive crouch. Her silver-tipped hackles bristled, and she dared to show her teeth once in a silent warning, but did not growl- as her voice was stolen away by the sudden realization that she was now face-to-face with the very same female who had trespassed into Easthollow territory. She was still fairly sure the female hadn't done any harm...But she'd been chased out with such  ferocity that she was led to suspect that her packmates felt she'd had ill intentions. Now, though- in neutral territory, and all by herself...She was certain hostility wasn't the answer.

It was with a patronizing, sickly sweet voice that she was addressed, so she pulled herself up a little from her crouch, but remained stiff and defensive still as she eyed the female warily. "You're the trespasser," She said quietly. Oh how she wished Greyback was there to materialize out of nowhere, if nothing else than to lend his imposing appearance that might frighten the female off. There was something off about her- and she felt suddenly singled out and alone.

A playful and yet somehow sinister, wide grin forms over her mug at the title. Yes yes, the single little, lonely tresspasser, who had not done anything to harm your pack, as I'm aware... She spoke, bringing a false sense of innocence to her. No warning. Not at all, they just ripped me to shreds! Of course, she had every intention to do harm, much harm, though she had expected none of them to be mind readers to know for sure. However, it was Rosina's truth that the Easthollow wolves had been no fools in knowing the little white heathen's intentions.

Now, She speaks, her head lowering to align with her spine as she crouches. I think it's well deserving by now I return the sentiment. A high growl rumbled from chest and she spring in low to slash and snatch at the side of the woman's jawline.

RE: Into my garden - Oryx - August 04, 2020

The tone with which Rosina spoke made Oryx feel as though she was being guilted by the trespasser, who apparently seemed to imply that she'd been wronged. Oryx frowned, perplexed; the pack's reaction to her presence had seemed like a lot...With so many wolves whoing up at once...And they hadn't even given her the chance to explain herself. She smelled of another pack, to be sure- but Oryx was unaware of the exchanges which had occurred between Easthollow and Ursus, and did not understand why the female had been pegged as being dangerous so quickly.

She listened to Rosina, barely able to make out her voice over the pulsating throb of her own heartbeat ringing in her ears. She accepted Rosina's accusations mutely, unable to deny the fact that she had, indeed, been set upon by several powerful, fleet wolves- and chased out despite having caused no harm. Her heartbeats became louder. She could feel a threat creeping into Rosina's tone as she spoke, and her fears became real the moment Rosina crouched. It was the way a cougar might crouch before pouncing directly toward its prey- and Oryx was fleet, but the distance between the two was too small for her to get away.

She emitted a shrill shriek, akin to a rabbit's last squeal, when she was set upon by the female. She tucked her jaw low and flattened herself against the ground, whimpering and squealing like something caught in a snare as she felt Rosina's teeth clench into the skin and fur of her cheek, just below one of her fearful blue eyes. She pulled away and snapped, hoping to deter Rosina and get away as soon as she could- but fear only slowed her down, and made her even more ineffective at self-defense.

RE: Into my garden - RIP Rosina - August 08, 2020

Had it not been for the fact that the dark woman too was just as small and petite, Rosina wouldnt have stood a chance one on one. She had never been a woman of brute force, for obvious reasons and she was far better at either using her sharp tongue or quick feet to get her out of scraps like this then into them. Usually, be it as it may, when Rosina did use her jaws it was against those far younger, as less capable of fighting themselves.

So when Oryx did snap back, Rosina jumped away quick and out of reach. Though the taste of the woman's blood excited her, riled her, and so when given the opportunity again Rosina would strike forth. Her mouth crunched down on a single, thin skinned ear of the woman and content was the wicked little witch to rip it right off Oryx' pretty little head.

RE: Into my garden - Oryx - August 10, 2020

It seemed that Oryx's defense would work, forcing Rosina back and out of her face. She managed to scramble her feet beneath herself so that she might be better prepared for another attack, which came soon enough. She reeled backwards but felt herself grabbed by the ear as Rosina snapped at her again. She felt teeth piercing through the flesh at the base of her ear which immediately forced her to go very still, shrieking in protest as she hoped that Rosina might let go. Any movement she made in protest made the tearing and searing of flesh more real- and within a few moments, she felt a small release- and then felt herself stumble backwards.

Her ear had been shorn near the base, and she felt the heat of blood pulsing down her cheek as she regarded Rosina for a moment, in shock. Instinct kicked in, then, and she whipped around, finally free, and shot off through the grasses- rocketing straight back to Easthollow as fast as she could, hoping she would not be pursued.

RE: Into my garden - RIP Rosina - August 10, 2020

Her squeals and shrieks were loud, echoing throughout the flatlands and causing Rosina's ears to press further against her skull from the loudness of it all. Still, she enjoyed it, enjoyed the sounds of her cries, a thrill which caused the little witch to gargle out a giggle as she tugged at the woman's ear and with whatever protest Oryx gave, caused the whole thing to rip plum off!

The dark coated little wolf fell back and Rosina did too, quite frankly, flopping back onto her haunches in what would have been a lazy sit. The look of shock the other woman have Rosina was matched with Rosina's own. Of course Rosina had done her fair share of killings but hadn't of thought taking off an ear would have been so easy.

Caught off guard and feeling equally as though she had recieved her justice, Rosina scrambled up and watched as Oryx made quick exit. It reminded Rosina of how quickly, how desperate she had moved when just weeks before Easthollow wolves had hounded her.

Black and bloody ear still within her jaws, Rosina pranced back hone with a job well done.
