She wanted to explore the mountains that were further rather than nearer.
She'd considered taking @Arwen, and perhaps her young daughter had followed. Perhaps she was obedient like she and Valour had praised. She wanted a challenge she hadn't found in her brief passing of the Moonspear range. And here, she'd found it. A sharp overhang that leaned out from the body of the mountainside, rocks threatening to give way with her every step. If she were heavier, she'd surely have no chance. Trapiesing on the edge of life. She'd looked for Arwen before starting on this land, but found no sign. She hoped her daughter wasn't foolish enough, seeing her own Mother struggle to think she could follow here too. She slowly moved inwards of the mountains, away from the very precarious edge that gave her such a rush. RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Takeshi - July 27, 2020 current dated is fine, thanks for starting!!
He roamed away from the Empire. Restless, restless. Why was it like this? He was disturbed ever since the realization of his feelings for Hotaru. He could not let his desires overcome him with her... but with built up energy, he needed to find a release somewhere. Just someone to imagine as Reiko, or Hiromi, or Ibis or Hotaru... hurting the women at home was too risky. But out in the beyond, none would need to know of his crimes, and his name would not need to be tarnished. It was during one of these expeditions out from home that he spotted her: his relief, a little dark smudge on a ledge down below. Dark as a shadow, but with the pale mask of an angel, and gaze the color of a bloodred heart. Takeshi made his way down towards her, navigating the mountain terrain expertly, like a pro climber. It was here he stood far from the edge of the ledge, gazing at her at she moved inward with eyes that were almost hungry. Hi,He greeted in a low rumble, working a friendly smile across his broad face. RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Vanity - July 27, 2020 She paused for a moment, looking across the landscape towards the peak of Moonspear, where Hydra resided.
Wouldn't it be perfect for them to call out to each other, peak to peak. Though, it was unlikely that the sound would carry so far. She sighed, wind brushing through her fur. The moment spoiled by a bland 'hi'. Her lips closed, after being parted for her moment of peace. Her head turned, looking directly at Takeshi. Standing regal on the ridge above her; that didn't suit her image. She graced a pleasant smile, making her way up to him, easily transversing the more solid land -- well, it is more solid than what it was closer to the edge. "Hola extraño," she replied breezily, moving closer to him. A fish, lured into the snapping turtle's mouth. RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Takeshi - July 27, 2020 Smiling, moving towards him- god, all that time with Reiko made him forget how easy some women were. This would be delightful- he was sure of it. She greeted him in some foreign tongue he was unfamiliar with, and he released and breezy laugh. Exotic, are you?He purred, grinning. If this girl didn't speak common... well, less need for words, then. Perhaps she would make it simple enough that he would not need to speak nor charm her at all. Takeshi shifted closer to meet her, just feet apart now, and his stormy eyes washed over her figure... up, and down again, taking her in, longing for her touch. This hell Reiko had placed upon him, a torture chamber of thirst, he would break out of it soon with or without her... and perhaps this stranger, would be the key to that lock. RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Vanity - July 27, 2020 Her tail waved softly, but he...puzzled her.
His demeanour did. She couldn't quite place it. Pack scent. "What pack do you hail from?" she mused softly, looking him over. Burly. Plush. Perhaps she knew of it, most likely not. But perhaps it would be good for her to find out. Them. Ah, her kidnappers. That's what he reminded her of. The stance. He was thinking about it, he was trepidatious, wanting. But didn't want to show it, so stood rigid, but tried to look friendly. Her ruby eyes narrowed on his own dark sapphire ones. RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Takeshi - July 29, 2020 just to be safe, I'm gonna put this mature warning, since some of takeshi's internal dialogue can be dark! :o What pack do you hail from? Was it worth sharing? The whole benefit of being out here, was that anything he did could not be spread through gossip in the vale. It would stay with his victims, or attempted victims- but then again, he was not sure if he would need to force this girl at all. She was being quite friendly- at least so far. And so Takeshi did not want to ruin the mood by brushing the question away, but he had to be careful too- and so he easily lied Kaistleoki. It wasn't unbelievable, he thought- they were close to the sister pack, he even knew the name of the leader from Reiko. Easy peasy. Even as her ruby eyes narrowed upon him, he would not give up. Nose tested the air- she had wolf scents, but they were growing faded, likely washed away by days of being alone. You've been away from your pack.He observed, but the way he spoke it was almost a question. Where is it? RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Vanity - July 30, 2020 Kaistleoki.
She'd not heard of it before. Must be close. She remembered the scent, in case she found it in her wanderings. Unlikely, but a possibility. She glanced up, watching some bird wheel overhead. Watching. Hunting. His question brought her back to the mountain where she shifted her feet. "The Nightwalkers are gone," she smirked ruefully. He probably didn't know of them -- of what they were -- but all the same. The name could still be uttered. And she wasn't going to give up the location of where they were so easily. So, with a dip of her head and a glance away, she voided to fulfil his latter question. RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Takeshi - September 02, 2020 Nightwalkers, a name he had not heard before. He might've noted it if they were around- but nothing remained, and so he let the word flutter away, content to forget it after this conversation ended. She was a quiet girl, saying nothing more than necessary, even avoiding his second question as if it had passed her by. Takeshi smirked slightly, wondering what could make her protect the location of something that didn't exist. I guess you don't have anywhere to stay, now.He murmured, half observation, half question. It was too easy to take advantage of a girl who needed a place to stay, but somehow he felt she might be too sharp for his game. sorry for the long wait !!! D:
RE: Am I stranger to you too? - Vanity - September 03, 2020 As they spoke, she started to...relax.
Yes, he still seemed wrong. But if he were to do something, surely it would be done now. She probably put him off. Hopefully. "Es mi casa," she mused to herself. A home, but with very little family left, it seems. She hoped her children were safe and where she'd told them to stay. "What's your name, hm? You better not lie to me either because I'm sure you," her eyes swept him up and down, a soft smile playing on her lips, "Will have such a handsome and suiting name." Men were less likely to lie when it seemed like there was no danger of it being held in a bad light. She sidled closer to him. Who would strike first? He seemed to have something hidden inside himself he wanted to release. She was just egging for a fight. |
