Since he had been kicked out of Swiftcurrent Creek, he had made sure he stayed well away from their borders. He constantly traveled to his new territory and went about Teekon Wilds recruiting wolves for his new pack. Soon, he knew, the land he was currently standing on would become claimed land. Dipping his muzzle into the flowing river, he drank his fill before continuing on his way to the middle of the territory.

It was midday now and he had been following the flow of the river, mostly traveling through the long green grass but he had also entered a few small woodlands filled with spruces, firs and pines. Mice snuffled from underneath the leaf mould while squirrels scurried up tree trunks. When he left the woodland behind him, rabbits and hares greeted him, bounding about in the tall grassy plains. He continued walking and noticed, not quite far away, a herd. This place was full of prey, he had never been to a place with so much food.

Swiveling his ears, he found the flow of the river again and began walking beside it, it was not long before the river widened and ended in a large lake. A few ducks swam about on top, silver eyes scanned the depths and sure enough, it was teeming with fish. He decided to stop here for the day, he had fulfilled his goal for today, to find the center of the territory. This lake was the center of the territory.

He decided to settle down for the night, watching the sunset. He lay down on the soft grass, silver eyes gazing up at the darkening sky and at that moment, he saw the true beauty of this place. A ray of fiery light shone down upon the valley like a shaft of fire, the sky mixed with reds, oranges and even pinks. The shaft of light moved over the whole territory before vanishing entirely, washing the place with cool dusk. With that a name came into his mind, one that was in his native tongue, one that he hadn't used since he had left his natal pack but he felt it would be a good name.

As the sun began to set behind the horizon, his thoughts wandered. Hopefully Bazi wouldn't send wolves to follow him, he had made sure that this was faraway from Swiftcurrent Creek. It took even longer to go from Swiftcurrent Creek to this place than for it to go to Tuwawi and Njal's lands. Surely it was far enough.

The black wolf had been walking for a long time now, three or four days since he'd left his last settling place. He didn't even know why he was walking here, but his paws were leading him to his place and he was merely following. He had noticed that the longer he walked, the more the landscape changed from thick towering trees to a gentle plain of grass, filled with rabbits and hares frolicking everywhere. He wondered whether anyone had discovered this place yet.

Blue gaze scanned the grass and leaped forward, his stocky build holding him back but apparently this rabbit was rather stupid and it fell limp in his muscular jaws. Farkas lapped up water from a nearby creek, and sat down to eat his rabbit. Only when his hunger and thirst had been satisfied did he notice scents lingering around, however it was not a border marker, but some wolves were here. They came here before him. But what were they doing here?

He wondered how long would it take for his curiosity to finally kill him as he made his way forward, following the scent trail. He soon found himself staring at a beautiful valley filled with soft rolling hills and prey. The river that he had dranked from led straight into the territory, winding around the shorter smaller hills.

The wolf that he smelled had been following the river, and now he did too but he wasn't following the river, instead he was following the wolf's scent trail. The sky was beginning to darken and he was happy that he had reached this place before the sun settled down and night roamed these lands. His bright gaze settled on the river as he walked, noticing that it was slowly widening, the wolf scent getting fresher.

Apparently the river ran into a large lake, he turned around and spotted a silver male lying on the grass, gazing up at the sky and he was just in time to see the sunset. Rays of soft light drifted over the hills, fiery oranges and reds along with paler pinks covered the horizon and he just stood there, gaping for a long moment at the beauty of the place.

It was only after a few minutes before he turned his attention back on the male lying on the grass and dipped his head, lowering himself onto his haunches and spoke "Hello, My name is Farkas. This place is beautiful is it not?" his tone pleasant.

I think you matched it, xD

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

He wasn't even a bit annoyed when a mysterious black wolf arrived in his territory, or soon-to-be territory. Silver gaze scanned over him, strong, bulky. He reminded him of Scimitar except this male had jet black fur and sapphire blue eyes and he seemed to be one of the outgoing wolves. A good candidate for one of his pack members. "Hello, My name is Farkas. This place is beautiful is it not?"

He sat up, "Farkas huh?" he said with a tilt of his head, a faint smile on his face. "Yes, my home is beautiful and soon it would not be alone. Soon it would be teeming with wolves." that was how he explained he was going to start a pack, with a weird choice of words. But if this wolf was intelligent, he would understand.

The sky was slowly darkening, the breeze blowing over them. Tonight would be comfortable, lying on the soft grass and although he missed his den back at the Creek, he knew dens could be made again and looked forward to be with Paarthurnax.

xD maybe

The silver wolf sat up, "Farkas huh?" he spoke with a tilt of his head. The dark wolf nodded, a smile still on his face. "Yes, my home is beautiful and soon it would not be alone. Soon it would be teeming with wolves." A confused look passed over his face for a moment, he didn't really bother hiding his feelings, to him, it was just too much work. Did the silver wolf mean he was going to start his own pack, here? In this place?

He grinned brightly, "Really? You're going to start a pack here?" he had been wishing to join a pack for ages now and maybe this was his big opportunity. "Thats awesome! I mean, this place is epicly beautiful. I can't believe you found this place to start your pack." he beamed brightly at the platinum male wondering what he would think about his outburst.

Farkas grinned brightly, "Really? You're going to start a pack here?" He nodded, a faint smile gracing his face. "Thats awesome! I mean, this place is epicly beautiful. I can't believe you found this place to start your pack." He shrugged, a smirk finding its way onto his face. He had noticed the confused look that arrived on the dark wolf's face when he first spoke but it seemed that he figured it out and that was better than most wolves who wouldn't get it even if he gave them a billion years.

"Yep, it was a matter of luck that I found this place." he grinned. "Why'd you ask, you wanna join?" he knew that Farkas probably did wanna join but he was asking just in case. He needed to know what skills he had to offer to the pack.

"Yep, it was a matter of luck that I found this place." The dark male rolled his shoulders in a shrugging manner. "Maybe, maybe not." he flashed him another bright smile. "Why'd you ask, you wanna join?" At those words, his breath quickened rapidly, sapphire gaze wandering around in a helpless manner before finally meeting the silver wolf's cold platinum gaze. "Yes, I wish to join, if you'll have me." he said calmly though he could not keep the excited yet nervous tone out of his voice. He really wished to be able to be accepted in a pack and this pack seemed to have potential and he wanted to live here, in these rich green lands.

"I'm a brilliant fighter, an aspiring warden, I can also hunt rabbits and fish although I'm a pretty bad fisher. I'm usually better with bigger prey such as deers and stages. Also I'm a great strategist and I will offer you all I have if you accept me." he bowed his head respectfully as he awaited the soon to be Alpha's decision.

"Yes, I wish to join, if you'll have me." said Farkas, he caught hold of the excited yet nervous tone that was attached to his calm facade. He did not speak yet, instead waited to see if the dark wolf had anything to add and he did which was good. The sterling outrider didn't want to waste time just questioning him.

His gaze turned to look at the stars that glittered across the ink-black sky, washing the land with the cool night air. "I'm a brilliant fighter, an aspiring warden, I can also hunt rabbits and fish although I'm a pretty bad fisher. I'm usually better with bigger prey such as deers and stages. Also I'm a great strategist and I will offer you all I have if you accept me." He gazed at the potential member for a long moment again as he bowed his head respectfully.

The rolling green hills had turned dark but it was still beautiful, even under the darkness that the night gave. "Will you pledge yourself to me? Come to me at my call? Will you protect your packmates and my family with your life?" he asked, he felt as if he had been repeating the same thing over and over again.

RE: its really time - Farkas - September 01, 2014

"Will you pledge yourself to me? Come to me at my call? Will you protect your packmates and my family with your life?" The dark wolf looked up, bright eyes shining. Does this mean that the sterling wolf had accepted him? Hurriedly, the blue-eyed male dipped his head again and said "Yes, I, Farkas Stormfire pledge myself to you. I shall come to you when you call and I will protect my packmates and your family with my life." he said confidently, without hesitating.

"Does that mean you accept me?" he whispered softly to him, lifting his head slightly but careful not to meet his gaze, instead glanced at the star covered sky and the wind that ruffled his dark fur. The trees that casted shadows over the two wolves and the quiet murmur of the river as it flowed into the shimmering lake. Truly, this was a beautiful place to live, and he knew he would die to defend it if the need ever came.

"Yes, I, Farkas Stormfire pledge myself to you. I shall come to you when you call and I will protect my packmates and your family with my life." Farkas said, confidence in his voice. "Does that mean you accept me?" the male whispered softly, not meeting his gaze. The sterling outrider thought for a moment before nodding slowly, a smirk breaking through his mask, onto his face.

"Yes, welcome, Farkas to Noctisardor Bypass. Or welcome to these lands that will soon become Noctisardor Bypass. My name is Shadow," he said pleasantly, bumping his shoulder against the dark male in a friendly manner.

"Yes, welcome, Farkas to Noctisardor Bypass. Or welcome to these lands that will soon become Noctisardor Bypass. My name is Shadow," He was accepted, he was finally accepted. Soon, when this pack was estabished, he would have a true home, a real home and he promised that he would always defend the Bypass. They had offered him a home and in return he would offer them his service and loyalty. "Thank you Shadow." he murmured quietly to the soon to be Alpha.

He licked the bottom of Shadow's chin in submission when he bumped his shoulder against his own in a friendly manner. "I promise I will defend Noctisardor Bypass even at the cost of my life," he swore to himself and to his soon to be Alpha. "Thank you for offering me a home at last, I promise I will work hard, you will not regret letting me join your pack." he spoke quietly.

"Thank you Shadow." Farkas murmured. The sterling outrider smiled as his newest recruit licked the bottom of his chin. "I promise I will defend Noctisardor Bypass even at the cost of my life," Shadow nodded approvingly, "Good," he said to the dark male. "Thank you for offering me a home at last, I promise I will work hard, you will not regret letting me join your pack."

He had another new member and soon there would be enough to start his pack, start his own packs on these beautiful lands that the gods had blessed him with. He might fully believe in Jupiter or Mars or Vesta or any of the roman gods but sometimes he thanked them, being brought up in their culture he hadn't been able to truly get rid of his ways and to be honest, he was glad for that.

"Come on, I'll take you on a tour around the Bypass." he spoke to Farkas and rose to his paws.
