Continue The Search - Shepherd - July 29, 2020 Setting: Afternoon —1600. 87 degrees — slightly cloudy, moderate breeze.
Set on the southern side of Greatwater lake. He’s been walking for weeks upon weeks. Nothing. He has found nothing. That doesn’t mean he won’t stop searching though. His two leg family will always be in the back of his mind. As he wanders into the Teekon Wilds, he doesn’t fully understand that he’s drifted into a land with an abundance of packs of his own kind. He’s only seen a few that look like him and none truly were held up to his standards. They didn’t have the other worldly nature that he did. They weren’t labeled a skinwalker or an extraterrestrial being. Perhaps he does hold a secret that he will never be able to share with anyone, that only for him to know though. So as he steps about the grasslands he sees a great lake, it’s massive. Anyhow, he’s relieved to have found water and he’s shuffling closer to eagerly lap some up. Bowing his front half he crouched beside the bank. He looks like a prideful lion with his wild mane of fur and thick corded body of muscle. Yet he also hold a serenity to his form, it’s peaceful, borderline harmless even though he looks nothing such. Even as blue eyes so light they almost seem white gaze about the horizon, he’s got his mind elsewhere and would suspect a visitor. He’s zoned the hell out, thinking of how and when he’ll meet his family that so suddenly disappeared. RE: Continue The Search - Chander - August 04, 2020 Chander had been flitting out the flatlands for days, wandering here and there, sniffing out anything that seemed of interest. Of course, nothing held his interest for long. And so he kept moving. So far, he had met no wolf on his travels, despite their scent being scattered on the wind here and there. He knew they were around, but they seemed to slip away before he could get close. A lake! Oh, a lake! Chander blundered forward, unaware of the wolf drinking at the edge of the water (ironic after his long search for his own kind) and lapped at the water. After a good few mouthfuls when he could feel the water swishing around in his stomach, he let out a loud contented sigh and then, without preamble, jumped with a happy playing yip into the water. It was summer! Summer was for swimming! |
