Passages - Chad - July 30, 2020

Open but hoping for Kingslend/Déorwine wolves. <3
Refreshed and re-hydrated, Chad pressed on further into this new, vast wilderness. The others were here, surely. He could sense it. Otherwise the High Elk wouldn't have guided him westward. His god never would have wasted his precious time! He wholly and truly did believe in the High One's messages, even if they were not easily deciphered at first.

He shook his coat out, for the umpteenth time. Bah...he would probably never get that god-awful stench of smoke out of his furs! His handsome features turned into a scowl. The damned fire.... His ears were singed and sore and his signature royal robe was burned round the edges! He snorted. The hairs would shed and grow back, the pain subside. The least he could do was put on a good show and make the most of his modified look.

Lead to a welcoming valley following the runoff from the glacier he had since visited, Chad's muzzle was low to the ground, yellow eyes upturned and alert. He was on a search for clues. For prints, of both wolf and Elk alike. Either would be a welcome sign. Absently, he glanced to his side, where he often expected to find his sister, Whitney. His scowl deepened. Damn her and her curse...her lack of purity! He had hoped she almost succumbed to the flames. Almost. But she was a Déorwine all the same. Even he...wasn't quite so cold.

RE: Passages - Célnes - August 01, 2020

going to say this is after Friede!

Célnes always had the habit of removing herself from others, and ending in explorations. Always one to disappear, alongst with her brother Cenric, it seemed like the two would always leave- but they were rarely in trouble. The only one she seemed to remember having an issue was her uncle, Grayson, who would give an earful and drag them back to their mother.

However she was a soft person, who only laughed it off. If their mother didn't care, why did he? The sylph always wondered, and even in the end, she never got an answer from him. As he disappeared, and now with the fire, it would be nearly impossible to find him.

"Chad?"

Célnes couldn't be sure, but it definitely looked like him.. She was going to go back to the stream to tell her siblings that Kendrick was alive, and perhaps together they can go for him- but instead, she found another Déorwine.

RE: Passages - Chad - September 17, 2020

There was a familiar voice behind him. One he hadn't heard in such a long time. His ears flicked to catch the note of her voice, carrying his name. In him stirred many emotions. Delight, relief...pride. Halted in his steps, Chad remained with his back to her a moment longer.

Tail swishing, he craned his neck to peer over a shoulder blade at her, with his cheeky but subtle smile. First Brewster and now her. Surely a sign of better days to come. They need only to keep pressing forward. "None other, Célnes." He turned to come her way, with that signature swagger in his step. "Praise the High Elk. It is so good to see you, alive and well."

RE: Passages - Célnes - September 17, 2020

since its so old, don't want to mess up future timelines! gonna exit her!

"It is a blessing," they both were suffering from the fire, but thankfully alive and doing well. However.. "We should meet up- my siblings and I are currently in a pack, however we had lost our brother. Though perhaps found, and we may go find.. You should join us at the mountain when it is time."

There no point in inviting Chad to the Whitebark Stream group, especially if she held thoughts upon leaving so. Her siblings are definitely happy once she shares these thoughts. With the news- Célnes must return rather fast. A shame to not catch up with him, but at the moment there was other things to do.
