Sialuk nodded at her cousin's question, eyes wide. Her mother spoke softly to Saviguk of dragons, and Sialuk stared deep into the water's depths, trying to catch a glimpse of the scaled creature that lurked beneath. If it was down there, Sialuk told herself that it was a good tiritchik, not one that would harm them. She wondered what color it was and what it would think of her.
She did not hear her mother asking Osiris what made the water warm, instead leaning in closer and watching for any signs of the dragon. What would it be like to live in the water? And what did it eat? Fish, most likely, Sialuk's favorite food.

The four wolves spent some the remainder of the afternoon exploring the hot springs and only stopped when the sun began to go down. Osiris assisted Kukutuq and her children home, and once they had been escorted, he went on his way.
