Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Célnes - August 09, 2020 siblings are leaving! It had been a short-run for the siblings in Whitebark. She originally thought they would stay longer, at least through this weather, however plans had been changed. With the appearence of their sibling Kendrick in the wilds, the trio couldn't stay still near Whitebark's domain forever. She knew it wouldn't work if they had to travel far and wide, and Célnes wasn't even sure if they would return.
Unsuccessful trip to find him.. But he was in the wilds. Alive, at that matter. It felt difficult to find him, but relieving more and more family begun to resurface. Unknowingly as well, her dearest uncle arrived to Whitebark, but the siblings already determined them leaving was a must. So the Déorwine was looking for @Artyom, or @Dawn to do so. She would properly say her goodbyes, and tying loose-ends. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Germanicus - August 11, 2020 the rain was never-ending. germanicus did not like it, and he did not think whitebark was safe with the rising levels of the stream. meaning to seek out artyom, he stumbled upon the dark form of célnes, striding with purpose through the tree-stands. silently the guard moved to walk alongside her, unaware of the woman's intention.
"have you hunted today?" whatever misgivings he might have, she was packmate to the soldier, both in service of the flaxen, accented artyom. germanicus would then do his level best to make things equitable between them, if not for himself then for the sake of the pack in its entirety. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Célnes - August 13, 2020 "Hello there Germanicus," the sylph greeted the silver wolf. She shook her head, a small pitiful smile following along, "i'm afraid not, as I come baring with some important news." It could be counted as fortunate for herself, as the news of her brother being alive was grand. She did not share the trio's predictament to the group, feeling it was simply not needed.
Though now, a slight explanation should be granted, "have you seen the Alpha's?" Her siblings were already impatient to leave, and didn't care for the formality that Célnes wished to give. Parting on wrong terms would simply not do. She felt that perhaps another day, the relationships she gained here could be used on another day. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Germanicus - August 15, 2020 "not in some time," he answered, red-tinged ears cupping forward as he attempted to discern what it was she bore. "i can bear a message."
a missive, directly to artyom only days after arrival? the soldier's immediate wariness crept back; he enjoyed the sound of her voice, but not its implications. hushgold eyes stole to her own, noticing she wore an expression in her smile he had not before seen. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Célnes - August 17, 2020 "I have another sibling besides the two that came with," she started, "we were looking for him, but our injuries only let us go so far." They had stayed at the bracken woods for quite some time. Freo's expertise especially helped so, but at the same time they held trouble with hunting. With all being hurt, it was hard to protect themselves.
"We have heard word that he is near," she didn't specify who. It seemed many of the Déorwine started to flock to these wilds, and it was a glee. However, seperated, a lost.. They were all used to the singularity that was; Kingslend. "We are going west to find him. We may not come back." And she still held a perfect smile. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Germanicus - August 20, 2020 "you stayed no time at all," germanicus observed in a clipped tone, unresponsive to the elk-woman's smile. "why not stay in the wood and heal there?" in his estimation, they had deceived artyom, all of them, no matter their reasoning.
the soldier watched célnes' face a long moment, a hard expression coming to bear upon his countenance. "if you cannot give to a leader what is theirs, do not ever seek subordinance again." a warning. a criticism. he would remain close until she had gone, the rustgrey shadow smudged in their wake, guardian to whitebark and escort out to those who would misuse the land's goodwill. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Célnes - August 22, 2020 She understood the harshness of his words, and only continued with a smile, "I didn't expect to leave so soon," while words were sweet, and inner depths may not care too much, it was a truth. She thought they would stay longer, especially to intertwine themselves with the culture of the land. Her siblings were still not used to.. How many were unblessed.
"I wish to bring him back, but I didn't want to leave with a false hope of our return." He seemed to stay close, until she would move. While talking, Célnes started her motion toward the border. Freo and Cenric, were already gone from Whitebark. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Germanicus - August 24, 2020 germanicus understood her reasoning, but did not agree with how she had comported herself regarding it. honesty was best, and the heathen had been dishonest. whitebark was his home, artyom his leader; no matter his personal adaptability, he was in service to the alabaster regent and his family.
thus he said nothing, only trailed célnes at a small distance. a brief frown would paint his countenance if she so chose to look back, otherwise the eaglebound would watch her until she had departed their territory. RE: Hey, feeling good, like I should, - Célnes - August 24, 2020 "May we meet again, Germanicus." At the borders, she looked back with her fire-pink eyes, and gave a short smile to the man. She had been raised to know those of not their own colors, were unholy, and while she never was a firm believer like others, it was still drilled in. Though he only treated her polite and kindness- despite the lies she may have said at times.
It was definitely different then what the Deorwine's fortold of others. And so, she left Whitebark, and so her siblings followed. |
