Fire alone can save our Clan. - Snowskip - August 13, 2020 Everything was so.. Wet! Snowskip was going to one puddle, to the next, mud occasionally spraying on her snowy-white fur as she carried a gleeful smile. The Clans have never been so damp, and while she remembered rainy seasons, she doesn't remember them being like this all the time. Then again, the little wolf is still young!
Perhaps it was a season she did not know of yet. It rained and rained, but never seemed to stop. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - RIP Earp - August 14, 2020 He tramped through the open lands.
The water was relentless. It was fine at first, a pleasant surprise in the hight of summer. But now, it was a nuisance. He often sunk to his ankles in lands that were turning into marshlands. He lifted his head, checking where he was and the land around him. Here, there was less rain and more hail. Snow and water often fell from the sky together, but after a short spell of being pelted with ice, his coat was littered with the little white balls that were now melting. A pale wolf danced in the slushy water, and he chuffed, trotting to her. He has nowhere to hide himself to sneak up on her, so might as well be open. He smiled easily, tail waving by his ankles. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - Snowskip - August 14, 2020 "Hi!" Snowskip greeted with a bright smile to the dark stranger, "is it always this wet here?" She asked with a questioning tilt of her head. Perhaps a native! That'd be a dream, because she really didn't know anything about this land. Did they too have Clans? Or were they the infamous Packs that she heard about?
The winter wolf never met really any outside of the Clans, and lone wolves were swiftly dwelt with by the older warriors. Being a yearling, she hadn't dont much except gaining her warrior name months ago. Except now- she'll never live to those dreams. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - RIP Earp - August 19, 2020 Her sudden alertness and greeting spooked him.
He quickly took a step back, dropping into a defensive position, thinking she was attacking him. But no attacks came. No, rather he was greeted with a pretty tilt of the head and a smile. All was well though, he recovered quickly and continued on to her. "Sorry, weren't expectin' dat," he grinned, easily sliding in beside her. "It isn't," he admitted, "twas hot and sunny, now we 'ave th' storm." He smiled again, trying to hide the glint of excitement in his ebony eyes. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - Snowskip - August 22, 2020 "Ohhh, I thought only Newleaf rained this much." Wasn't it Greenleaf now? When it should be hot, with bright blue skies, and of course the fireflies at night! Alas, it seemed she was only greeted with the abundant of rain.
"Do you think it'll brighten up? Or is it like this every year?" She had so many questions! Snowskip was in a brand new land after all, after the Clans were destroyed, she wanted to know everything about the outside world! Not too many left the forests after all, they were quite large groups. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - RIP Earp - August 27, 2020 She mentioned some distant land she probably originated from. For a young girl, it was expected.
She'd not explored much, perhaps just left her home in the early years of her life. No, this was just some freak deluge. Nieve. Easy pickings for him. He could get her to eat some poppies...keep her sedated for a while... No, he was busy looking for something more fulfilling. "It ne'r like dis. Freak veather." Yeah, surely it'll get better. Well, they were going quickly into autumn now so perhaps not. Next year will be better, but this winter will be very, very wet it seems. "Where yous be goin' now?" Wouldn't help to ask, in case they were going the same way. He stared at her. Looked deep into her face even when she looked away. Now, he started to move closer, wondering if she were so naive to let him. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - Snowskip - August 28, 2020 Snowskip didn't think much about him, especially when he moved closer, she only smiled and said, "you talk a bit strange, where are you from?" Though did not mean it as an insult. The Clans did not have such accents, as all were born into, and rarely did they let the loners or rogues within. So she found it odd, but interesting!
"No where!" She said brightly, "exploring!" RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - RIP Earp - August 29, 2020 A lone traveller.
A perfect companion. Or victim. He grinned, feigning it to be for her bright nature. Tail aiding his play-along. "I be from Messiah’s Deprive." He wasn't born there, but he might as well have been. She didn't seem like the nasty type and didn't take it as such. An inquisitive youthful girl. Perhaps she could follow him for a bit. "Wanna explore with me?" He proposed. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - Snowskip - August 29, 2020 "I don't know what that is, but sounds cool!" Anything that wasn't Clan origin sounded interesting to Snowskip. There was so much to learn that she didn't know, and so much that could be seen! She never dreamed to leave ShadowClan, though fate said otherwise, and let the lil' winter woman survive through the attack.
"Sure!" And she definitely didn't mind a companion through this. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - RIP Earp - August 31, 2020 Obviously she didn't know where it was. Only Sahira's knew where it was.
He thought her to be rather dull to make that statement, but whatever. However, she agreed! What a surprise it was. She really must be oblivious. He wasn't exactly inconspicuous. His tail wagged a soft smile that didn't quite reach the corners of his lips. "Well, we better get going then before this rain picks up," he inclined his head, a soft spring in his step to help along any of her inhibitions. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - Snowskip - September 01, 2020 perhaps they accidently lost each other? and then find each other at ursus again LMAO
"Oh, yes!" She didn't think anything of it, simply glad to have a travel companion at some point. After all, she really knew nothing about this land and what it was, and if there was.. Any packs nearby, really. Snowskip knew they were not like the Clans after all, and was quite curious. She hoped Earp, would perhaps know some. RE: Fire alone can save our Clan. - RIP Earp - September 04, 2020 Yes ofc, can't wait <3
Well, it seemed settled then.
She was more than happy to follow him wherever he ordered. Or something to the like. His tail waved and he moved to bump her shoulder. And together they moved off, exploring the Teekons. The pure and the dark. |
