and so, she decided to start living the life she imagined. - Dehlilah - August 14, 2020 A new chapter had begun for the dispersal dame dispersing from her adoptive parents and following into Teekon Wilds grasp. The coil of the zephyr ruffled the woman's long and tangled forelocks her paw pads burned from the heated dead lands. Humidity absorbing her dark pelt her ribbon hung from her jowls, saliva rolling off its serpent structure and onto the hardened sod where the earth absorbed it quickly desperate for hydration. Her orbs glistened like a lit pool of water with Sol glistening onto the surface reflecting in a blinding sensation. The maiden attempted to smell her way out of the dried up land which ended with no results. Disabilities causing the woman to have difficult times to move herself across terrain. Perhaps, she thought- heading towards the Bracken woods would help cool down the blazing fire she felt on her spine that taunted her. She shifted her gait into a slow canter, her mitts hitting the sod with a thud each stride the petite damsel huffed and puffed before collapsing to the dried land. Her eyelids hung over her fiery eyes to block the invading sun. Her tassel was curled to her side while her skull was rested on her burned paws to exhausted to move from the long travels and constant heat with rarely any water source or successful hunt with barely any sight or hearing even if there was a thicket or pool nearby or just the smallest of prey she wouldn't know because of the lack of those senses missing. She was accepting her fate by now and allowing herself to get comfortable for mother nature to take her and end this misery, perhaps leaving the Mountain she once called home was where she truly belonged.. RE: and so, she decided to start living the life she imagined. - Gracious - August 19, 2020 She strayed from Nove Peak, taking a break from the new activity that swarmed her. Instead, Gracious searched for solace, for peace and quiet away from the mountain. She had spent lots of time on spires recently, it was time to return to flat ground. A gentle gallop set the large mountainous woman into motion, she swallowed the ground beneath her in long strides. While she was no marathon runner, Gracious had found in interest in her unusual scheduled sprints. Sometimes they'd be slow, other times she acted like a bat out of hell. Today, it was slow. The burning in her lungs, the feeling of her chest nearly collapsing into itself -- this was the feeling Gracious hated most. But this was the feeling she was most accustomed to. She wanted to be stronger, stronger for herself and stronger for the small ones in the Peak who nestled themselves between the adults. There were no blatant warriors there to offer protection, it was time Gracious accepted her body's worth and began to use it properly. Marshmallow fluff did very little to benefit her. She broke gait, however, upon seeing a figure before her. Collapsed onto the ground, still and breathing (?). She couldn't tell from her distance. Panting, tongue lolling, Gracious brings herself to compose her breath before releasing a gentle, low-pitched howl. It was a call of question. "Are you hurt?" She strode forward just a bit, to close a little more distance. She leaves enough room, however, to not make the other feel threatened. |
