He had been in an extremely good mood since Paar had decided to follow him, they were courting. He intended for them to become official mates after the pack had been created, but for now, he had to concentrate on actually forming the pack. Those dreams would never come true if the pack wasn't formed, right?

He trudged through the long grass to the beginning of their territory, what he liked to call the entrance to his soon-to-be home. The grass shortened as he walked until it only touched the underside of his paws. He wondered if anyone would dare venture here, he had but he had only done it with a purpose.

He turned around and slowly made his way back to his own territory, or at least the territory that would soon be his.

RE: that light that overwhelms me - Raven Nightclaw - August 31, 2014

She had no idea where she was going, ever since she had left The Sunspire. She didn't even know why she left the Sunspire. Basically everything was a mess and she was currently traveling through nowhere. Or at least what she thought as nowhere. She had been walking for days now, not bothering to waste her energy on running. The dense treeline had widened out to give space to the green plains that dominated the valley.

Prey scents filled her nostrils making her belly rumble. She crouched down, tail skimming on the grass as she stalked the rabbit, licking her lips at the thought of an easy meal. It seems that these rabbits did not even know that there were predators around. She would have laughed if she wasn't stalking one of the stupid creatures right now.

She leaped, jaws finding its mark, the rabbit fell limp in her mouth as she sank her white-sharp fangs into its neck. A smile found its way to her face as she gobbled it up, she was about to hunt again when wolf scents drifted towards her nostrils. But she smelled no borders of claimed land, were they fellow loners who had also found their way to this strange new place?

She followed the newest scent that led her into what seemed like the entrance of paradise. Even if it wasn't a mountain, she felt right at home. Gentle rolling hills surrounded great plains and thick woodlands were dotted around the territory, as far as she could see. She stared for long minutes before realizing the wolf's whose scent trail she had followed was here.

"Hello?" she called out, gray eyes blinking slowly at the grayscale male.

That table bro, so awesome *o*

His ears twitched as he heard pawsteps, so some wolves actually traveled here. He did not speak, instead stared thoughtfully at the night-black she-wolf. "Hello?" she finally called out, blinking at him. He wondered if Paar would be offended if he brought another female to the pack. She wouldn't be unreasonable would she? He shrugged, they needed more members and she might just be one of the pledge members.

"Hello to you too? What brings you here to my land?" he stopped, realizing his mistake and offered her a faint smirk. "Soon-to-be land, I mean. After all you can't smell the border markers can you? Because there ain't no border markers. At least, not just yet" he tilted his head at her, wondering what she thought of the place. After all he had noticed her pausing as she arrived, did she too, think it was beautiful.

"Beautiful isn't it?" he asked her, his tone pleasant. He wasn't going to ruin a chance to get another possible pack member. He needed as much as he could gather together so he could establish his own pack.

Yeah, sad that I didn't make it...

"Hello to you too? What brings you here to my land?" Wait, his land? She had not scented any border markers, a look of fear flickered over her dark face and she was about to back off when he spoke again. "Soon-to-be land, I mean. After all you can't smell the border markers can you? Because there ain't no border markers. At least, not just yet" She let out a sigh of relief as the words crossed her mind. Soon-to-be land, did he mean he was going to establish a pack here? In this beautiful place? She wanted to join him immediately but restrained herself, first she needed to know a bit more about him. "You scared me for a moment there, I thought I had crossed into claimed territories."

She smiled at him briefly, "Well I had but I crossed into soon-to-be claimed territory." she replied grinning. "Beautiful isn't it?" Gray gaze met his platinum ones before turning to look at the view again. She would literally die to live here just because of its beauty. The shimmering river that ran through the valley, softly rolling hills shading the area of the burning hot sun and there would be shelter from the sun in some of the thick woodlands that dotted the plains.

"Yes, indeed it is. I would love to live here just because of its beauty."

"You scared me for a moment there, I thought I had crossed into claimed territories." He flashed her one of his signature smirks. "Well I had but I crossed into soon-to-be claimed territory." she grinned at him and he found himself wanting her to join his pack. Her humor would be well appreciated to cheer wolves up when they were down, she should go for the trade caretaker but that would only happened if she actually joined

"Yes, indeed it is. I would love to live here just because of its beauty." This was his opportunity."Good thing that I'm starting a pack here," he winked at her, a faint smirk crossing his face. "Do you wanna join?" he asked her with another tilt of his head. She was a potential wolf and he wanted her in his pack.

"Good thing that I'm starting a pack here," a smirk crossing his platinum face. "Do you wanna join?" he asked with another tilt of his head. A smile spread across her dark face, gray eyes scanning the soon to be pack leader. She decided to trust him, besides she was in need of a home and this platinum male was offering her one. "Yes," she smiled brightly. She knew he was going to ask her what skills she had to offer him so she decided to to just tell him herself.

I'm an excellent hunter and fighter and I'm also a good counselor. Wolves always go to me for help back in my old pack. I seem to understand what they're feeling and stuff. I'm also very loyal." she said, dipping her head to the platinum male, awaiting his decision whether to accept her or not.

"Yes," she said with a bright smile. He was about to ask her about the skills that she had to offer to the pack when she answered the question herself. "I'm an excellent hunter and fighter and I'm also a good counselor. Wolves always go to me for help back in my old pack. I seem to understand what they're feeling and stuff. I'm also very loyal." his silver gaze scanned her for a long moment, for some reason he loved freaking wolves out and making them nervous, those that he didn't really know of course.

Finally he nodded, "Will you pledge yourself to me and the pack and all of the members within? Will you come to me at my call? Do you swear to protect the pack with your life if necessary?" he asked her calmly, if she accepted and swore the oath then she would have a place in his pack.

She sighed softly when he nodded. "Will you pledge yourself to me and the pack and all of the members within? Will you come to me at my call? Do you swear to protect the pack with your life if necessary?" the future Alpha asked. She dipped her dark head at the grayscale male. "Yes, I, Raven Nightclaw pledge myself to the pack and all the members. I will protect the pack with my life if necessary and I will come when you call." she replied softly.

Then as an old tradition in her old pack, she crouched down in front of him and licked both of his paws in submission to him and to give him her full support and loyalty before withdrawing, head still bowed in front of her new Alpha.

"Yes, I, Raven Nightclaw pledge myself to the pack and all the members. I will protect the pack with my life if necessary and I will come when you call." A faint smile appeared on the young sterling outrider's face as she pledged herself to him. Another member. He kept his impassive mask as she crouched down in front of him and licked his paws, seemingly in submission, however he was surprised inside.

The soon to be Praetor, that was what the Alpha rank was called back in his natal pack. He might want to forget his origin but he knew that he would never be able to truly forget his natal pack. "I accept your pledge, Raven." he spoke to her gently, nudging her to tell her that she could stand up now. "I am Shadow and I will soon be your Praetor or Alpha as you call it." he flashed her a smile before turning his gaze towards the green plains that made his territory.

RE: that light that overwhelms me - Raven Nightclaw - September 02, 2014

"I accept your pledge, Raven." She did not raise her head to look at him just yet although her heart started racing even faster, she was accepted, finally and she wasn't going to go anywhere soon. Or she hoped that her paws wouldn't bring her anywhere else just yet, she wanted to at least stay and settle down in her new home for at least a month if she had to leave.

"I am Shadow and I will soon be your Praetor or Alpha as you call it." Praetor? Was that what he called the Alpha rank in his language? She shook the thought away, as if that even mattered right now. All that mattered was, she was accepted.

"Thank you, I promise you won't regret your choice." she spoke to Shadow.

"Thank you, I promise you won't regret your choice." Shadow flashed the female one of his winning smirks. He actually did that to everybody he saw, it usually annoyed them to no end and he was fine with it. In some ways, he was like Danica. But to those he truly cared about, his mask of smirks, coldness and harshness would slowly melt away but it would take a long time to earn the sterling outrider's respect.

"I hope you'll prove me right, Raven." he spoke to the dark female and rose to his paws and began walking towards his home. Might not be his territory yet, but still his home. "Come, I'll give you a tour." he called as he trotted forward, tail swinging nochantly. Soon our home will be properly established.
