a smile on your immortal face - Erzulie - August 23, 2020 maybe @Yosemite? <3
two new men in rusalka. the coastal pack had burgeoned with blood relations; they knew one another. rosencrantz had gone his own way, along with tundra and rowan. but now erzulie scented through the rainfall for the boy who had come to them.
she patrolled the outer border of the forest, where the trees thinned into moorland. a rise now, passing underpaw as she circled back to the woodland and rubbed her shoulders against a nearby trunk, tufts of fur catching in the bark to announce the claimed nature of the deep weald. RE: a smile on your immortal face - Yosemite - August 23, 2020 No one had paid much mind to Yosemite, which was really for the best, he thought. It wasn't what he was used to, of course. Everyone had always been in each other's pockets back at home. But he'd been more confident there was well, and familiar with the various moods and temperaments of his pack mates. He didn't know these wolves. Erzulie, however, was a familiar enough face. She was someone's mom and, well, he had a mom, so he thought maybe he knew how they worked. When he caught sight of her on the next rise, apparently coming in his direction, his picked up the pace to go and meet her with a cheerful way of his tail. Hi!he said, ducking his head as be drew near. RE: a smile on your immortal face - Erzulie - August 24, 2020 a long-legged boy approaching. erzulie was reminded of her sprawling brood, now gone to their own way. save for clementine. and nieve, who would not have left on her own. a pain there, the dread that her gilded daughter had been forever lost, and then the harlot was sweeping her spiced ears forward. "hello. how is de day treatin' you, jojo?"
erzulie paused then, took in the look of him. satisified by his submission, she moved onward. "have you lived on de sea before?" she inquired, wondering why rusalka had been the choice of this boy and his aloof companion. uncertain that nine would remain, she turned her thoughts to encouraging jojo that choice. "an' what do you like to do, to learn?" |
