Heart on my sleeve - Moonshadow - August 30, 2020

sorry it's so short
She had finally been able to pull herself out of her head today and she stood up from the den with a long stretch she looked for her pups.

@Ravaryn and @Shiloh

Ryn was taking a nap, curled up neatly in the very corner of the den.
She liked the feeling of the cool air just about touching her, but her body temperature and the bedding she'd stolen from her Mother's bed kept her warm enough.

Obviously, she'd cuddle with Moonshadow when it was really cold and at night, but this was her nap.
So when she sensed her Mother getting up, her head lifted, spotting her Mother's form looking for them.
The young girl rose and stretched out, yawning wide, before trotting up to her Mother, tail wagging and big paws fumbling.

She watched her young pup closely with a smile as she gave her a loving nudge and stood in the entrance way of the den. The pups no longer nursed so she was able to do her own thing more. She watched as Ravaryn followed. "Well good morning." She said softly

Ryn pushed up to reciprocate her Mother's love.
She softly growled, her tail wagging happily now.
She was up! She wanted to go somewhere!

"Morning!" She chortled, grinning wide.
She pushed up on her rear paws, bouncing from Mama's shoulder.
"Where going?"
Her eyes turned upon her mother's matching pair with inquisision.
She wanted to explore with her!

She looked at her young daughter and smiled. "Not too far but how about you lead the way this time." She wanted to see her daughters creativity in action and perhaps answer any and all the questions her little heart desired.

"Uhhh."
She cast her gaze about, thinking.
Mama would follow her.

Ok.
The dark-girl bounded forth without fear, only uncertainty of where she was allowed to go.
She turned towards what she would later learn to be the river, but for now, she was just too far from it to see, but could faintly hear the soft burble of it.
A confident nudge from her Mother and they pushed forth towards the sound and was greeted by the rushing river. Dazzling in the sunlight.

The girl yipped with excitement and mother and daughter romped around for a while, and gingerly tested the water. She wasn't allowed in it too much, but it felt so weird!
But before long, the pair tired and settled beneath a tree, watching the world pass by before falling into a calm sleep. Curled up in one another.
