Decided to start doing quick, 1 round introduction threads for new members of the pack. There’s no posting order. This thread is meant to be short and straight to the point. Back dated to August 27th. ;D Meet Leigh everyone!

Please allow Leigh to post first.

Donovan walks back to their pack den site. He’s got a nice little idea. Something they haven’t done in the pack before. He believes introducing their new at members will benefit the pack. Help them bond and shit like that. They should know who she is so there’s no misunderstandings and she ends up dog food. That would be most unfortunate.

So he pads up into the center of Warrior’s Heart and jumps (as best he can with a wounded leg) onto a raised plateau that overlooks the den site. The sun striking his pelt beautifully, and muscles shift beneath his powerful form. To him, he truly looks like a god. Perhaps he even thinks he is. The pack has no idea what his intentions are. Perhaps they find him idiotic for his actions — he knows Renard does. Yet, they do not know what he’s got in store for them. What a beautiful surprise that will be.

He grins, it’s a dark borderline malicious one. He just can’t wait. His maw wrinkles in a manic smile, he can’t help a low chuckle that bubbles past his dark lips. There’s no time for that now, he can’t tell them just yet.

He shakes himself out, bits of fur flying throughout the wind. Settling his face to something neutral, yet the look in his fiery gold eyes is mischievous, conniving. He finds this sufficient enough, he tilts his head back, drawing out a baritone howl fit for a god itself, calling his glorious, faithful pack mates to introduce their newest member, Leigh. He would call to her first, her name translated into his deep howl. Then to his pack mates.

The howl pierced the air and there was no way Leigh could miss it.

Lifting her head, large eyes and ears alert, a puzzled expression overtook her face as she wondered what exactly Donovan was calling for. The day had been rather calm, and she hadn't been doing anything important so there was no reason to hesitate following the invitation. At an even pace, she walked towards her destination.

The now familiar face came into view not too long after as the she-wolf trotted into the area. Her soft features displayed a light smile, eyes bright and rested. She was still unsure why exactly she had been asked to come, and it seemed that others might arrive as well considering Donovan probably wouldn't have called in such a way just to meet her alone.

Meeting the alpha's golden gaze, she spoke softly.

"Yes?"

He smiles down to Leigh and nods to her. “I wanted to introduce you to the pack.” He hums, nodding his head for her to join him on the pedestal for more dramatic effect.

If she decides to join him, he’ll nudge gently at her neck with a leathery nose as a silent thanks. He would turn his eyes upon the second to come to his call, Nyra. The beautiful, strong wolf of snow seems to have made it back from her mission. He is grateful. He gives her a smile as well, locking twin eyes to her own, so similar to his.

Whenever the other join them, they will hear his voice loud and clear. Godly in his stature and tone as he introduces the dark pelaged wolf.

“This is Leigh. She is the newest member here. Treat her like a part of the family please.” He ends with a chuckle. “We’ll train her well in the ways of the Saints. Won’t we?” He questions even though he doesn’t truly desire a reply back.

RE: Lost her only son and he wasn’t even three - RIP Praimfaya - September 02, 2020

a family.

donovan calls them a family when everyone has gathered to meet the newest: a woman named leigh. we are not a family. we're not even a kru, but she bites all this back. she offers an assessment of their newest recruit, unsure what it was about her that made donovan decide to stand like a god before them and introduce her as if she were special. in a way he hadn't introduced any of them.

riley's words come back to her and she bites down on her tongue.

she doesn't strike praimfaya as the type to chase donovan's sexual prowess but ...they don't even know each other and first impressions can be wrong. praimfaya. she offers her name. a blade. and as there was nothing else to say she falls silent and hangs back until they are all dismissed where she will return to the patrol she was pulled from in the first place.

RE: Lost her only son and he wasn’t even three - Valour - September 02, 2020

From the shadows of the canyon he crept to peer at the newcomer. Leigh. Sweeping his eyes over the greyscale she wolf he gave a noticeable but silent nod before he spotted the figure speaking up and his eyes went wide. The moonspear girl? What was she doing here? Now striding forward he looked away from Praimfaya and toward Leigh "Welcome. I'm Valour...also a recruit. At least i'm not the 'newcomer' anymore"  a weak attempted at humor delivered with a slight smirk and a sway of his tail as he stepped backward giving Praimfaya another curious glance before he'd turn and wander back to his own business.

Cameo but he needs to be more social lol

RE: Lost her only son and he wasn’t even three - Derg - September 03, 2020

Donovan called for them to converge at the Warrior's Heart.
He'd not done this before, but the Overseer had an inkling of what was to be expected.
A new tradition for a new recruit.

He was miffed to be dragged away from his work, but nevertheless he went.
The Overseer had to show his face.

He trotted upon the gathering, moving through his packmates to the newcomer.
She wouldn't leave them. The other had started to, and he needed to keep a tighter grip on this pack.
Donovan couldn't just fuck everyone to stay here.

He smiled softly to this Leigh.
This small, slight woman who he thought bore resemblance to Awenfen.
Not a broadsword, like Donovan, but a small dagger held in the palm on each hand.
He should train the two together, they could become a powerful pair of warriors.
"Derg, the Overseer," he introduced himself.

RE: Lost her only son and he wasn’t even three - Leigh - September 03, 2020

Joining Donovan on the pedistal, her eyes suddenly brighten as new wolves come into sight. First there is a pale-furred woman, who seemed a bit underwhelmed by the situation. Leigh couldn't blame her, she herself hadn't planned on such an introduction. Two others arrived, Valour and Derg, and the she-wolf offered them a warm smile.

She was sure that this couldn't be the entire pack, but it was nice to at least see some unfamiliar faces and get a better understanding of the area. At least now she knew three names and the wolves they belonged to in case anything were to happen where she'd need help.

"It's very nice to meet you all."

Donovan scoffs. It seems this is the only few that come to his calling nowadays. That’s fine, time will remedy that. They’ve met her, his goal is complete. They’re done here.

He nods to his following. “Thank you for coming. We will introduce everyone new pack member from here on out. You are dismissed.” He hums only loud enough for them all to hear before turning his head to Leigh. “Nice job, dear.” He hums before stepping out of the spotlight. “Feel free to do what you want with the rest of your day. Familiarize yourself with the territory, hunt, sleep, whatever.” He chuckles smoothly. His voice rather soft and polite.
