Static filled the one sparkling fae's mind as she stumbled home, the quest for flowers and herbal findings were the least of her concerns as she moved without thought. Her scruff was still coated with his saliva, trickling red droplets from where his teeth punctured the skin. Her frame felt cold even though she tried to forget the warmth and weight of him pressed against her, she should go to the stream within the Hushed Willows but her mind could not remember where anything was. instead her body shook as it fell to the tall grass, the impact not registering as she remained on her side. It was now her vision spilled over, tears coating her cheeks once more as she gave a weak and crying howl for anyone that might come. Someone to tell her this was a terrible nightmare, that the pain between her legs was not real. Please let none of this be real, please wake up.

RE: [M]y light extinguished - Bridget - September 17, 2020

oh boy, leggo

Bridget had been nosing for a particular leaf all day, and so far she'd been coming up empty.  She had a pile of other useful pieces collected, and she'd gotten bored hours ago, but she was running low and Lumiya had hinted of a war on the horizon.  Bridget straightened with a sigh, then stretched, wincing as her back muscles tightened, then relaxed.  Just a short break... she could take what she'd found, then come back.

Her ear flicked sideways as a weak howl sounded.  Bridget frowned, eyeing the pile, before deciding to leave it.  It wasn't likely any of it would be helpful if there was an injury, and besides... she didn't want to inhale it when she ran.

What the...  She entered the scene at a run, but slowed to a stop as her eyes darted around to find any sign of what had Deidra so upset.  Deidre?  What the hell happened? What's wrong?  She wasn't super close to her (or any of the faeries yet), but that didn't mean she wasn't on edge seeing any of them like this.  Was someone hurt?

Tears came, falling faster and faster as she curled tighter into a ball. What was with this pain, why did it still effect her? Why did this happen, please let this jot be real! She gave another howl, another pitiful excuse of a sound and this time a voice answeres.

She knew this voice, she was a pixie with her back in the old Court. Bridget. She must not have smelled the blood or the act that had been done to her because periwinkle eyes watches as elshenlooked around. No, no, the man was gone. He was never here but a neutral location, a place that should have been safe.

"I-" Her voice cracked with tears as she lifted her head, her legs shaky as she failed to fit up. "A man.. he.. I couldn't-l.. I couldn't stop him!" she cried.

She was crying.  Bridget automatically moved to try and comfort her, but then froze, rigid, as she haltingly explained what had happened.  A man.

What did he look like?  Bridget's voice was quiet, but there was a tone behind it that held a current.  A live wire waiting to be tripped.

In general, the fairy was quick to anger when it came to her family, and quick to forgive when misunderstandings were had.  This, however, was different... unforgivable.

There was little she could do for her aside from help her to clean herself up, but she did have something to help calm.  Chamomile.  Poppy is good for the journeys we take, but should never be used as an escape. Leticia's voice resounded in her memory.

"W-white, like the sn-sn-snow.. with.. tan on his nose.. dark-k blue eyes.." The fairy hiccups like a bawling pixie, could she be more pitiful? She tried to sit up again and this time she seemed to succeed, her tail tightly tucked between her thighs. She looked up at the larger blond. What could they do, what could he done?

Bridget committed the details to memory.  It wasn't a ton to go on, but it was enough, and the image was burned onto her shit list.  You are a dead man, dude.

We'll let Lumiya know, she can warn the others.  He won't get near the Court, don't worry.  Bridget moved in cautiously.  When a wolf went through something like this, you never knew what the response would be, and she'd give the space needed while also providing support.  For now, let's go to the stream.  She would doubtless feel better once cleansed, and then Bridget could find something to set her at ease and help with the pain.
