she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Parasite - September 16, 2020 AAAA omg i forgot to put this up yesterday my bad! being vague about injuries
@Evien Bastards! The both of them! How dare they tear into the beast’s flesh? Mistake.. big mistake. Their faces would be etched in Parasite’s memory. He’ll find them, and he’d make them regret what they did. I. Want. Them. Now.The monster dragged himself across the meadow. The tear on his shoulder set his whole leg on fire, and the wounds on his face and body were beginning to sting. RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Evien - September 16, 2020 Evien had a knack for finding injured boys around here. Except... was this thing really a boy? Upon first glance, Evien thought he might be rabid, but that didn't seem to be the case. Still, fur stuck out everywhere, and the wolf was... it didn't look healthy. Sterling himself, the medic approached. Ears angled forward and gaze raked over the stranger's pelt. "What happened to you?" he asked, lingering back a bit. If this guy was sick, Evien didn't really feel like catching it. RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Parasite - September 16, 2020 Who dare approach the creature when he was in this state? Foolish man, he ought to take a bite out of him. Maybe that would soothe his nerves. No, it wouldn’t. Parasite just wanted the princess and her knight. They tried to kill me.Fools, all of them. A chuckle bubbled in his throat. RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Evien - September 16, 2020 Well, yeah, that much was obvious. Evien shifted his weight a bit and tipped his head to the side - he had a duty to Ursus, but he certainly didn't mind caring for the wounds of a stranger from time to time, either. "Those wounds need treated," he commented, glancing around for more horsetail. That was one herb that was ever present around here, and it was a good antiseptic. "I can help you, if you'd like." RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Parasite - September 16, 2020 Yes, they did need to be treated, but he’d done that already! Licking wounds was what he called treatment. What more could this stranger do? Parasite tilted his head to one side. How will you do that? RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Evien - September 16, 2020 "With plants," Evien said simply, padding off to the side about fifteen feet and pulling up a mouthful of horsetail to bring it back over to the stranger. He was lucky he didn't have to travel that far today. "It's horsetail. It disinfects wounds so they heal better," he explained, setting the plants down at his own feet. Ears flicked around and Evien paused, raising a brow. "Did you see any water nearby? I can do this without it, but it might be nice to have anyway." RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Parasite - September 16, 2020 Plants? He must be joking, Parasite thought, but he wasn’t. The little man walked off, and returned with reeds in his jaws. Another chuckle rose from his throat. Strange little man. No, no I haven’t.Parasite plopped down on his haunches and craned his neck forward. Go on then, treat me!He’d only allow him near because he was curious to see how this would be done. RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Evien - September 16, 2020 This guy was weird. Had he never seen a healer before? And what was with that, openly insulting someone who was trying to help? Evien took a deep breath to calm the irritation in his chest. His temper would be the death of him one of these days, but he was working on it. "Alright," he acquiesced, leaning in to get a better look at the wound to his shoulder. It looked painful, irritated and a little dirty. "Mind if I clean it up a little first? It won't heal if it isn't clean." RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Parasite - September 16, 2020 He followed the gaze to his shoulder. It’s where the worst injury lie. Torn open, exposed to the elements. Of course it’d be the first wound to be addressed. Go ahead,Parasite said, and yet he hesitated to turn his shoulder to him. There’s something about letting someone so close that bothered him. Perhaps it’s some sort of strange instinct. RE: she won’t scream or cuss or raise a fuss - Evien - September 22, 2020 Something in Evien's stomach churned at the thought of cleaning an injury with his tongue rather than water, but he was a healer, and that's just what he was supposed to do. He leaned in and passed his tongue over the injury. Dirt and grime and flesh came off under his tongue, and he wanted to vomit, but refrained. This was why he always asked people to wash off in the water first. He fought against the urge to puke and leaned back to inspect his work. Clean enough for a poultice now. Evien took the herbs in his mouth and chewed them into a paste. He spat it out onto his paw and looked over at the stranger. "This is gonna sting." |
