the stars come out - Neven - September 25, 2020
Neven rarely strayed too far from @Piety these days, but she was feeling a bit more adventurous today. The terrain was hard to navigate - not to mention a bit chilly - but she managed well enough.
The wetlands were squishy underfoot. It was a nice day outside, she thought, but it was definitely cold when the water seeped into her paws. Not that it mattered much - Neven was fluffy and warm, though she certainly wouldn't mind cuddling up to her gigantic bear of a companion right now.
A cricket popped out of the grass at her feet, startling the girl a bit. She jumped and narrowed her eyes, then pounced, aiming to trap it between her feet.
