so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Cenric - October 04, 2020 So, Kingslend wasn’t as quiet when he was away as he had hoped. Cenric learned that they had caused some trouble with the neighbors. A future crisis had been avoided thanks to him. Their group couldn’t start anymore problems with the locals, and he’d make sure the family knew. Cenric would start with his sister. He quietly searched their forest for a sign of her. Based on how Niamh greeted him, he assumed Célnes had been a part of the quarrel. He hoped she played as a mediator rather than an instigator. She was a smart woman, after all. RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Célnes - October 07, 2020 She too wished to find her brother, but Célnes's had other thoughts pre-occupied. There was some issues to he reign, particularly to the more devouts of the group. No one in particular tried to overthrow, simply shake their head in disappoint. Though there was one in particular that seemed rowdy, and a few thoughts plagued her mind.
She raked through the forest, their new home. Blessed by the deer, and the relics left by them as well. Grazing the ground did the antler go, as a glint held to the fire-lit eyes. The Deorwine held firm to the artifact.. She glared in the surroundment to noise, but lightened to the sight of brother. "Cenric," she referred to his name, a serious tone in the air, "a lot has happened." RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Cenric - October 08, 2020 At last he found his sibling wandering their claim. She seemed to light up when she saw him, but her voice held weight. A lot has happened, she says. Indeed,he replies. Assuming she was referring to the hunting grounds incident, he continued, I’ve heard of the run-in with our neighbors. RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Célnes - October 10, 2020 There was a grimace to her smile, but the woman shook her head, "No. That is another issue- but you are aware of our inner turmoils." It was noted particulary with Odessa, Calhoun, and Rohesia. The three that the two Kings would have to be especially wary over despite being family. There was changes to make, that were not approved by them.
"Rohesia attacked me- right after I had been attacked by a stranger." RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Cenric - October 10, 2020 Their interaction with the neighbors wasn’t the topic she wished to discuss, no, it was the family’s internal conflict. The heat had been cranked up Rohesia. She’s grown bold enough to attack her King. A stranger’s attack can be concerning depending on their residence. If this barbarian was a nomad, it’s a problem that could easily be brushed off their shoulders. If they ever lurked near their domain again, the Déorwines could get rid of them. Their cousin’s attack, now that was a different problem entirely. A solution would require thought and care. Rohesia is out of line.Very daring of her to come for their leader when she was already held in such low regard. There’s a possibility she’ll inspire others to diverge from our path. We can’t have that.Calhoun and Odessa come to mind. They were already unhappy with Célnes’ decision. One small straw could break their backs, and that straw could be their deranged cousin. Cenric gazed past the trees. Something must be done. RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Célnes - October 10, 2020 The antler horns she held were placed by her feet, as her brother talked fire-lit eyes gently glanced at them so, "Then we are in an agreement." While at times the two may settle at their own devices, Célnes held firm that in the end they were the same. After all, the two siblings had a tie together that could not be forgotten.
Perhaps another was to be forged, "Perhaps when the moon is high, should we talk to her." The Deorwine lifted so and looked at her brother, a knowing smile to transpire between the two. RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Cenric - October 10, 2020 When it came down to it, the elders siblings were always on the same page. It’s been that from time they were whelps, through adolescence, and now as they became Kings of a once shattered kingdom. Their cooperation was needed to rebuild it, and it was needed to throw out the pieces that were far too damaged. He looks at the antlers that lay by his sister’s feet, then up at that smile. It’s an expression she rarely shows, but he knew exactly what it meant. The corner of his mouth tugs up slightly. The High Elk would frown upon her actions. He placed a paw upon the tip of the antler. Touching such a powerful relic gave him a rush. Attacking a King? Your own blood? That would surely incite his wrath. Cenric backed away slowly. We’ll speak with her alone. Bring the antlers. RE: so i trapped him under a cardboard box - Célnes - October 11, 2020 "She believes her own ways- but we also have our ways to deal with such attitudes." An agreement between the Deorwine siblings. Together in blood they are united, and together as Kings do they rule the forest. However to make their reign official, it seems there was some needs to be attended.
He held the same thoughts, and she could only widen a smile, "Of course." |
