living in the state of dreaming - Astraeus - October 05, 2020

AW  @Mahler @Phaedra @Thade & @Wylla, if you want to! after this
tl;dr he's has trespassed and unrecognizable, sniffing in dens, location vague

Astraeus now carries the air of a high-strung tradesmen;
taciturn, yet his mannerisms immediately depose any inference he was demure and meek. No, he still sees the world in its black-and-whites and forgets the grays. Wending besides the montane's evergrowth, sepulchral musing festers like the wound over his eye and mind. Hefty lead-weighted step meanders further further further...

droopy lids settle upon the abandoned sett of what he presumes a beast was chased from. The starling melds into the afterglow as he thinks he has found reprieve (and to sunder whatever force continues to encourage this migraine!) as his crown peers into the gloom.

RE: living in the state of dreaming - Calcifer - October 28, 2020

This could be interesting.

Calcifer loved his mother and sister, but if he was being honest with himself he was getting tired of them. If he understood himself better he would know that it wasn't that either. He simply had no one else. The others of the pack came and went sometimes with a glance in his direction but he hadn't met any of them. Not in the way that he would have liked. Perhaps he was hoping someone would show up at the doorstep of his den and introduce themselves, he wasn't entirely sure what was keeping him from meeting new people. All he knew was that it would have to change.

Aimlessly wandering the territory the first wolf to come to his gaze is a dark make, with strange lines on his face. With a child-like disconcern for manners that would give away his age better than his enlarged form, he walked in this males direction. He stood over something and from his distance, Calcifer could not see it. Having a question and desiring an answer Calcifer blatantly asked "What's that?"

RE: living in the state of dreaming - Astraeus - October 30, 2020

Astraeus mistakes the lumbering of the bruin-boy that of the badger that used to live here. But no, it's his unnamed friend's brother, unbeknownst to him of course, cloying his shambling soul all the while swiping his prints over dust-blanketed memories of his easier life. Paltry heart, sleep bidden shoulders, and a throbbing mind forge into the sett anyways, holding an initial disregard for the question.

Quiet. A sigh, then, “It's a big-thing. Like you. I guess,” he has never thought himself one to speak in a cryptics' language, but then again he didn't what know he was anymore. Between a man and a child, still. “Why do you look....like that, anyways? ...You should go be with your mom or something.” Could he not see he was bleeding? Also, why was he so TALL. The claymore felt he would catch up in no time, which threatened his soon to come manlyhood.

RE: living in the state of dreaming - Calcifer - November 23, 2020

The man wasn't very forthcoming to Calcifer's answer and was even quick to make what sounded like an unpleasant comment about Calcifer's appearance. Calcifer wasn't sure what this male meant. No one had ever commented about his appearance before. He knew his sister was smaller than him but surely that was because she was a girl. As Astraeus asking Calcifer about needing to with his mother like he was some type of infant child Calcifer was quick to quip back. "Why do you look like that?" he asked walking closer to the male and getting a better look at the man.

Something short so I can keep him from the checker until I can flesh this out, lol. :, )

Astraeus' pelage resembled sweetgum-tree fruit the moment Calcifer stepped into his business. He was still mouthy and boyish, so the broadsilver decided he no longer "enjoyed" the other child's company any longer. Closing his eyes with a exasperated grunt, he continued to shuffle forth into the badger set. “Don't you have rocks to go slobber on?”

Same. XD. All good. We can wrap this up if you want.

Again he ignored Calcifer's question and instead decided to make an unpleasant comment towards him. "My sister's the one who likes to collect stones. I help her carry them sometimes, but neither of us slobber on them? Calcifer corrected. He initially came up to this male out of curiosity hoping to meet someone new and perhaps learn something. But within the few short moments, Calcifer has known this individual he had only been insulted and grown agitated. "Do you always avoid other questions and say mean things to them?"
