remember your wild - Hydra - October 07, 2020

to all the adults interested in FITE CLUB.

Hydra called for those in her pack interested in becoming a guardian, else a warrior, with the intent and drive both to teach them. The matriarch would see to it that they became just that. The children, too, could watch and learn; she would guide them all, and teach the children their own lessons as well. Those that wanted to learn surely would, and it was time to truly get into the lessons for those that had come for it.

RE: remember your wild - Caelum - October 08, 2020

cameo unless engaged!

Caelum showed up, his interest piqued by the mention of fighting. Being a guardian seemed like something he could do that might be cool, so he wanted to learn more about it. For now he watched from the side, interested to see how the adults trained because he liked watching others do something before trying to copy them.

RE: remember your wild - Keres - October 08, 2020

Despite the fact that the silvered Ostrega had no interest in pursuing a career as a warrior or a fighter, the moment her illustrious Queen's howl went up, Keres was on the move. Ever sincce her encounter with the golden man in the grassy plains, a new sort of fire had burned within her, one that spurned her into continuing her lessons. He had given her a good foundation, to say the least, and though she was no creature of considerable size or strength, a good foundation could make all the difference. So, too, could practice.

So, she arrived soon enough that there were no others yet to gather but Hydra herself and a young pup; closing that distance to nose the leader's chin gentle, Keres then retreated and glanced to the child that watched nearby. It was goog that the children would learn too, and somehow, she expected nothing less of the mountain woman. Adrenaline and excitement slowly secreted into her veins, eyes and ears alert as she watched for others to join them.

RE: remember your wild - Altair - October 09, 2020

He too had followed behind his mother and Caelum to where she had summoned the others. The art of what he knew to be fighting and defending was an intriguing one, especially since it had been drilled into their heads in a very Hydra-esque, loving manner for as long as they had been able to wrestle among each other. Now watching the adults of the pack doing their thing, well… that was bound to be interesting.

Reclining to his haunches on the outskirts of what would no doubt become a sparring circle of sorts, he watched and waited for the group to amass. His aunt Keres was the first one to show up and Altair beamed at her happily—perhaps she would teach him things too, that she would learn from this. With a wave of his tail, he fought the urge to break from his mother’s side to greet her and had to settle for the very thing both women had try to instill him in: patience.

also a bit of a cameo, though i'm gonna try to squeak in some replies to use this for a trade thread

RE: remember your wild - Jarilo - October 22, 2020

Hydra's call welcomed a change of pace in the day's immediate routine. He had been raised from birth to be a guardian of the mountain and had stepped willingly into the niche. Naturally, he had finally grown into the assurances that he could help others work towards the same too. By now, considering how many of them there had come to be and what brewed out in the wilds among other packs, it was high time for him, too.

Lately he had been effected by the season's shift, and often was found either collecting or entertaining their youth when he wasn't already on patrol. Between his pair reaching a more independent age, and his sister's litter a step ahead of them even, it was.. a lot. Still, it felt necessary to know what the others knew already, and know who all wanted to learn. The more of them that could carry the weight, the better for him, and the pack in the long run.

When he reached them, he greeted Hydra first. The others came next before he settled off to his sister's side, attentive.
a bit late but
