no time - Hydra - October 12, 2020

open! though potential participants beware as hydra may react in a hostile manner, depending. tags for reference!

Hydra was glad they had decided to lay claim to the Glen in full now, but part of her felt that she had taken too long in taking this initiative. Mira had been here, and Mira had gone from here, and scouring home the latest trails for her were cold enough to set Hydra back to where it had ran warmest. She moved at a rapid clip, though there was nothing frantic about her. Hydra was quite certain that she would find her wayward daughter, and intended to do so sooner rather than later.

She did not hide her search. Her head lifted as a booming command came from her lips for her jet-black cub. It was a beacon, I am here, and a demand, answer me. None came, and Hydra continued forward for any indication of anything. Hydra paused where it seemed her daughters trail might have mingled with another, though then and there it was tough to distinguish whether or not it was coincidence or something more nefarious than that.

Hydra erred toward the latter. What would keep Mira, who had never been disobedient beforehand? Nevermind the fact that she had elected to travel alone, which she ought not to have... but she was a child, and children were subject to dimwitted moments. That her own were not immune to it frustrated her beyond words—had she not taught them to be better?—but she would not give up on them for this unfortunate conformity. She would mull over ways to cull the trait from them once her Mira was found. Firstly, to find the wretch who kept her daughter from her... and secondly, to make whoever did regret that they had ever so much as looked at her.

If Hydra let her live long enough to recognize the feeling.

She continued her search, pausing once more to howl for @Mira.

I will find you. And whoever else was with her, too. No threat—only a promise.

RE: no time - RIP Desdemona - October 12, 2020

cameo

From the shadows did Desdemona follow the wandering Queen. The daughter was missing, and all of Moonspear was frantically searching so. She lurked around, nose keen to the ground, and patiently looking through as the parents howled for any, and all responds.

To the mountains, to the glen and beyond. The search was on, and whoever had taken the dearly beloved children of Moonspear, was clearly going to pay dearly.
