Taking a break from her herd searching, Aliana took a walk along the side of the gentle river, listening to it softly bubble. As she strolled leisurely along the riverbank, an autumn leaf seemingly drifted down from the heavens and fell in her path. Aliana instantly felt a soft crunch underpaw and glanced down, lifting her paw to see the yellowing leaf. She looked up at the trees; they too were getting ready for fall there once green leaves with now changing colors; orange, red, and brown. Dying and falling off, scattering across the ground and to the winds. The grass was fairing no better.

She lets out a faint sigh until Aliana heard a splash, glancing over at the river to see ripples of movement upon the water. Her ample stomach grumbled its mild annoyance to her, ushering her to find something to eat. She ran a tongue along her lips, remembering Ira speak of the plentiful fish that live within the river. She walked to the edge of the water and naturally hesitates for a moment before slowly easing herself in. A chill ran up her legs and down her spine, causing her to shiver as Aliana stepped farther into the river till it nearly met her stomach.

There she stood like a statue as if the chill of the river frozen her in place. Staring into the river, she could see the fish were riled up, avoiding her. Now, if she stayed still… and stayed quiet. They’ll calm down, they'll think she just a stick or something that fell into the water. Possible be attracted by the shadow of her form over the water. That would be her chance to snatch one.
