if you knew, knew what the bluebird sang at you - Alarian - November 02, 2020 @Astara vague vague vague
Alarian rises with the sun, stomach rumbling in complaint of its recent neglect. Hunting quickly takes first place on his to-do list for the morning, so he sets off in search of a scent trail. He still remembers which places to avoid, and which are frequented by prey; as if he'd never left. Surely he would feel even more at home at Broken Boulder, but he doesn't dare glance toward the taiga. It is one of the many places best left behind him. Instead he focuses on the task at hand, and tries not to wonder if Easthollow still stands nearby.
RE: if you knew, knew what the bluebird sang at you - Astara - November 02, 2020 another early misty morning punctuated by harsh beams of light; another interloper. this one hideously deformed -- or at least that was astara's opinon as she watched the fox-faced man hunt. she trailed off at a distance. her last excursion with easthollow had her protective of overextension - the cuts on her face and throat were still raw, painting a picture of a wolf well used to conflict. if he was here to hunt, she would watch him until he left. if he made a turn for easthollow... well.... he might never leave at all. not in body, anyway. |
