Castles in the sand, - RIP Umbra - November 10, 2020 Something strange washed up onto the beach of Ironclan. It wasn't unfamiliar to Umbra, who was a seafang, born into sea, and hardened by it's waves, but she did not think there would be a day where they would wash upon this shoreline. However, it was a mark of good luck, and she grinned at the thought.
Mermaids scales, was what they were to be called. No one was sure what exactly a mermaid was, it was said it was somesort of wolf who had been blessed by the ocean itself, and grew the scales of fish to survive so. The glass shards laid by the beach were but branches of the same scale, either by death from the creature, or simply shedding them as so. It was counted as good luck, but wasn't an extremely rare event like a Mermaids tear, but something to be adored by any of the ocean. She pawed at one, wondering whether to gather them and bring it to her den. RE: Castles in the sand, - Elijah - November 26, 2020 Oops, a wild himbo approaches!
These places smelled familiar, like that guy he met in the gray-land along the beach. The scent markers were light, but clearly being placed... it wasn't wise for him to cross them and having no real intent on joining, but he also didn't do any attempt at keeping himself hidden (thinking that maybe, by doing so, he wouldn't be seen as a threat and allowed to just meander by so long as he didn't cause any trouble). A black shadow along his path, she was the complete opposite of him, a pretty little thing too. He had a thing for the dark ones too, something about the contrast really appeased his own senses... but then again, he wasn't quite picky, it was just a thought in the moment how he adored what he saw. Without much thought on how accepting she would be to his presence, the man approached, peering over to the jewels in the sand with wide-eyed wonder. Woah!He sighed, loudly. Those are pretty! No really, they were. Strange looking things, were they often found by the water like this? Did he just miss them or something? Anyway, after taking a glance and depending on how quickly she reacted to him (she can cut him off of course), mismatched eyes flickered over to her in the most sensual way he could, all half-lidded and all to appear as suave as he could for the following. Not as pretty as you of course, hey, I'm Elijah. RE: Castles in the sand, - RIP Umbra - November 30, 2020 Her face contorted in disgust. She was not fan of these.. Type of men, much less woman when Umbra thought of @Bijou the sea wrench. They were especially disgusting with their over-the-top attitude and constant need to get boned in some way, she thought the instinct only came when it was the season of spring, however for them it was never to end. She found herself often meeting this disgusting types, with @Kingsley coming in the thought, and being rather sick of them, she no longer hid her distaste.
"You are in Ironclan territory, state your purpose." She ignored all that was said and grew in a rather aggressive matter, her mind pushing away the mysterious stones as she bristled in a guard. RE: Castles in the sand, - Elijah - December 01, 2020 Damn it, ignored once again with his flirting. Was everyone so uptight here that they just can't take a compliment by a kind stranger or something? Sure he was trespassing but the scent borders were... well, not absent or weak - but he figured they were new enough and he was kind enough that it wouldn't matter all too much (at least in his brain it didn't). I thought I saw something pretty and thought I would come by to say 'hi'.He continued to try and flirt, to show he didn't mean any harm other than just being maybe a little overly friendly. Soooo... uuhhh hi.He tried again, smiling with a wide toothy grin, brows arched in a way that said he was all that and a bag of chips. Ironclan huh? Is it yours? You look tough enough to lead a bunch of wolves.Compliments compliments compliments, try to flood her with more and see if that brought something else other than teeth and growls to his face. RE: Castles in the sand, - RIP Umbra - December 01, 2020 She was not interested.
Umbra scowled at his attempt of bore and ignored so, finding no reason to entertain so. They were only sweet-words that would end in abandonment, for men were trickery in the way of that, and woman were whores to the slaughter. She snorted at the very thought he was anything loyal for the factor of his personality. "I am one of the leaders. I am the Sealord, alongside the Saltking," though she wouldn't say out loud, she hasn't seen him lately. RE: Castles in the sand, - Elijah - December 02, 2020 It was like talking to a brick wall. She was seriously pretty, there was no going around that - but man was she boring to talk to. Shoot, his back might start to hurt after a while if he had to keep carrying this conversation the way he has been. Oh shit, that means you're married doesn't it?Don't know where he came to that conclusion, but he did. Leaders ruling side by side and one being a king, it meant she had to be his mate. Well damn, no wonder she wasn't interested in him. She was damn salty enough to fit the titles given, however. RE: Castles in the sand, - RIP Umbra - December 09, 2020 "No." The answer was given coldly as she squinted slightly at the man. The thought of her marrying was just a dream, or a political statement above all else. She was rather picky upon her men as well, only preferring the strongest of them all, and if they weren't otherwise, she wasn't interested. At the moment there was very few to try this time, and she only currently had thoughts for Tahoe, and Wintersbane. Though she would not mind if another stronger man, proposed to her.
And this one was definitely not one of her desires, "Only the strongest can try me." RE: Castles in the sand, - Elijah - December 10, 2020 He felt like he was kinda getting somewhere? Like at least she was sorta talking to him in a bit. Even if he didn't have a shot at her romantically, maybe he could show her they could be friends at least! That he meant no harm, all he wanted was to come to say hi despite how... uncouth it was for him to trespass. Elijah didn't sit, even he felt that would be crossing some kind of line right here and now, maybe putting his little advancements more than just a couple steps back. Well you deserve only the best, yeah?He was honest, he agreed with her. She was one tough lady and only the best of men should be able to tame her, even if Elijah wasn't that guy. He'd meet his lady later, and she was a gorgeous brunette (since this thread came first Wren lmfao). I'm curious. What does a guy have to do to prove himself strong enough for y'a? RE: Castles in the sand, - RIP Umbra - December 16, 2020 Upon his movement closer, Umbra narrowed her icy eyes upon him and let out a snap of her jaws. She said nothing on the matter, but let it be a warning to him for a line not to be crossed. As this was their territory, she did not want him to get any closer even if she was in the moment on friendly-terms, but that can change if the man desired to push it.
She watched him in silence for a moment more, before answering, "leadership is handsome, but if they can beat me as well." Someone to not only beat her, but could tie wolves together in a bond united. It was attractive to be an Alpha of a group, the pinnacle of power itself, for a stranger of the lands could easily beat another, but could not as easily make a pack to lead. |
