New wolf in the forest - Nyxie - November 30, 2020

Nyxie ran down hill until she reached the bottom. She panted softly as she took note of her barings. She scanned the valley and looked beyond the crest of the hills. She saw a mountain beyond the the crest of the valley. She had seen a glacier before descending into the valley. She considered where she should go. It was early in the morning and she knew she could cross the valley by the end of the day. She took off at a trot towards the peak visible above the crest of the valley.

She reached the other side of the valley by twilight. She looked for a place to hunker down for the night. She was headed towards the peak but she though she smelled something. She took a long sniff and cursed herself. She had wondered close to a wolf's territory. Then she considered her choices. She could keep marching until she was away from the territory or she could stop now and risk the consequences.

She was tired and went with the latter option. She looked around for a good spot to sleep. She settled on a small clearing. She curled up and went to sleep.

RE: New wolf in the forest - Evanora - December 01, 2020

Falling asleep when a witch is nearby is unfortunate indeed. Skulking nearby while watching the fatigued midnight wolf, was a similarly coated coyote... she slinked along the ground, keeping to the lower grasses as violet eyes peered out toward the canid. A subject, she thought to herself, wondering if she should stuff the herbs and medicine down the lupine's throat to test it out without their consent.

As the female laid down to slumber, Evanora took it upon herself to slither forward. Careful with her paws to remain silent until finally, she was close enough to breathe in the scent of the wolf. She loomed and circled the thing, carefully sniffing at the female and trying not to wake it. Clutched in her maw was a packet of leaves, inside, well... that was for her to know and the wolf to toon find out now wasn't it?

She heard something as she awakened from her sleep. She didn't move. She tried to disguise her sniffing as normal breathing. She smelled a coyote. She could handle a coyote easily under normal circumstances. But she was tired from a day's march and she barely got any sleep. She didn't think the coyote would dare attack her.

She remained motionless hoping the coyote would pass her bye. Even weak she thought she could repel the coyote if it dared to try anything. She remained still for what seemed like hours but what could have been minutes. She felt sleep overpowering her. She didn't try to resist she knew she would be fine. She fell asleep once again.

The wolf stirred and Evanora paused... froze on the spot as she eyed the female's face to see any indication of her waking up and attacking... so far so good, the lupine seemed to have relaxed once more, fallen back to sleep and still she waited until certain she felt safe enough to move again. Slowly she placed the package onto the ground, gently peeling it open and wait again. Eye the wolf. Caution was her middle name after all. If she wanted to test this batch, she had to be cautious.

Gingerly she placed her nose into the mixture, coating the digit with the juices and slowly... oh so slowly as her heart raced. Going anywhere near a wolf's mouth is a dangerous affair, but if this worked out, it was well worth the fire that was surely coming her way. If the wolf would not wake, she would try to carefully smear the poultice onto her lips... that should be enough to observe any side effects once she licks them.

Still she was on edge, ready to make haste and create distance between herself and the sleeping canid should she awaken now. If coyotes could sweat, she was sweating buckets. It was thrilling.

Nyxie felt a tingling on her nose. She sniffed. Her nose was on fire. She jumped to her feet and pawed at her nose. Her paws were unable to clear her nose. She licked it trying to get the pain to stop. Her going was on fire too.

She thrashed around madly. She saw the coyote standing by. She ran at it. She was ready to claw the thing but she stopped. Everything was feeling better. "What did you-" she tried to growl. Everything was becoming weird. She was feeling happy. "I'll kill you for-" she was unable to finish. There was nothing wrong everything was fine. She completely forgot about what the coyote had done. She fell over and rolled on her back.

All her thoughts drifted away until she came to a calm suggestible state.

The sleeping dragon awoke! Although she would have liked to have smeared more on the woman's lips and nose, it was apparently good enough for now. Evanora was quick to move, ducking and stepping back in one swift movement, narrowly avoiding the clashing teeth that snapped her way angrily. Preparing to flee, the witch was only stopped when the wolf began to sway. The cut off speech pattern was a curious thing and she turned back to eye the creature as she fell over.

Finally, she could relax. The wiccan proudly stepped forward, watching as the woman wriggled on the ground, growled her threats and the melanistic coyote only stared down at her with a vacant gaze. how goes't thy feeling, wolf? Smokey, sultry vocals slithered forth through the air as she spoke; almost disgusted by the creature below her despite how useful it was being by being a beautiful test subject.

She leaned over just enough to try and take a look at the pupils of the woman, to see if they were dilated or constricted. From here, she watched the breaths upon her chest, was it quick or slow? Was she to die, the wicked witch wondered... so far, it just looked like some kind of high instead. A trans. But sometimes that too lead to the demise of the individual... all she had to do was wait.

Nyxie - Nyxie - December 02, 2020

Nyxie lay on the garss calmly. She knew something was wrong but she couldn't think what. She heard from far away "how are you feeling, wolf?". She answered "I feel very nice.". She knew something was wrong. Her pupils diolated. She rolled herself over and staggered to her feet.

She looked at the coyote. She ran towards it not as fast or coordinated as normal but still fast. She fainted one direction and lunged in the other ready to knock this creature of her feet.

'Very nice' she says and the witch frowns softly at the answer she obtained. Damn, she thought to herself. Euphoria was not what she was aiming for, but it was good to know should she need it for other spells or potions... despite how rare it was for the necessity of euphoria of all things.

The wolf began to shift and Evanora, as fidgety as she was around a conscious beast such as them, was quick to flinch and move out of the way. Ducking and swaying to avoid any teeth but still got bucked by the swaying creature. How she despised these creatures. How mighty they felt in the presence of species as her own. Not wanting to be pushed around by some drunken canid, she took a couple of snaps at the wolf, growling in a warning that she was not here to play around.

Behave and all would be well, said her growl as she backed off. Ears flat and needle teeth flashing to make her point. She wasn't here to fight, just to test a few things out.

RE: New wolf in the forest - Nyxie - December 02, 2020

Nyxie glared at her. "Behave and all would be well". She knew that was crap. This creature had done something to her. She could feel her mind still sluggish. Part of her wanted to lay down and be a good little wolf. NO!!

She resisted her temptation. She was going to punish this creature for challenging her. She noticed some of the leaves that were different from the others. They had the same smell as the ones she had gotten on her nose. She sprinted for them.

She crushed them to powder in her paw. She hoped against hope it would work. She ran towards the coyote and threw the crushed powder towards the witch.

Nora isn't one to fight so she flees!! Thanks for the fun thread! <3 Hope they meet again lmfao!

Well, this went all a wry. The wolf was getting more agile in time and obviously did not consume enough of the toxins to be fully under her control. Perhaps the recipe needed tweaking if it could be brushed off so easily. The wolf went for the paste that was left and was quick enough to hit the witch in the cheek as she turned away, quickly scurrying to make some distance between them. Only once did she turn to sneer at the beast, remembering her face for future scorn - and then she was off into the darkness of the forest.
