And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Sunhawk - December 02, 2020 To the surprise of no one, Sunhawk stayed inside Stavanger Bay's confines for exactly a handful of days. No more, no less. He waltzed down the beach occasionally checking behind him. He never knew what Kraken lurked in the water, or what Wyclops was ready to ambush him from the tree line. Nature (and the women that occupied it) was mad scary. Sunhawk wasn't going to have any of that if he could help it. A scent captured his interest and he followed it down the beach to a burnt down place that sent shivers down his spine. The air here was mysterious and gloomy (like Grumba). Sunhawk stepped carefully through the young vegetation and ashy soil, always listening for company as he went. RE: And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Wren Baines - December 03, 2020 She supposed the ocean would always have a place in her heart. Going back to the coast was in the cards. It was in her fate. Wren wandered aimlessly, leaving the other regions behind. She bit back a sigh as she tasted the air, finding a fresh scent of male upon the wind. Might as well meet another wolf, huh? She could do with worse company until proven otherwise. The brunette trotted along the beach, following it to this rather burnt place. She glanced around, blue eyes focusing on the other wolf soon enough. She called out a greeting, her tail raised in what she hoped was a friendly matter. "Hey!" she recalled Wraen saying wolves lived along the coast. Wondering if he was one of them, she slowly approached. "do you live around here?" RE: And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Piper - December 03, 2020 Something in Piper had been pulled toward the beach. Thoughts of her mother spilled through her head, and somehow she had thought that venturing to the beach to collect stones would subdue the guilt and frustration that had made a soup in her gut. Distracting herself was probably a better coping mechanism than trying to kidnap children to fill the void inside her. She figured she could grab a few pretty rocks and whenever she rumbled herself up some god damn courage and quit being such a spineless little shit- Two figures caught her attention, pulling the girl's gaze upward to a dark male with a little bit of gold around his neck and shoulder area. It reminded her a bit of Tadec. The other was some girl who was looking to strike up a conversation with the guy. Piper paused, squinting towards them with some hesitation. She wasn't sure if she was ready to dive in to interrupt or skirt around, so she tried her best just to look interested at the ground for a moment and not peering through the curtain like a nosy old woman. RE: And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Sunhawk - December 13, 2020 Sunhawk startled at a woman's voice. Who?? Where?? He looked up to see a brunette coming towards him with her tail waving. Oh thank god, not the Wyclops. Or a bear. He was kind of sort of faintly positive totally that the scent he caught here was bear. Maybe. This lady was a sight better than a bear. Seemingly friendly, too. Sunhawk raised his tail in greeting. "Howdy." Deciding she seemed friendly enough, Sunhawk divulged. "Not too far. Just down the coast. You?" During this he became aware of Piper, who was more like Peeper at the moment. His eyes narrowed. "Whozzat? She with you?" RE: And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Wren Baines - December 13, 2020 Another wolf appeared, and Wren wondered if the coast was a hotspot for winter. It was much more colder than further in the land. She twisted her neck to look at the other woman, giving a nod to them before being addressed by the man. Another wolf living along the coast... "Ah, just traveling around for now" Wren replied easily enough, rolling her slender shoulders "no, she isn't with me" But the woman was standing nearby so it was rude to ignore her "I'm Wren" she said to both of them, including man and woman in her words. RE: And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Piper - December 22, 2020 Who’s that? Tch… like she wasn’t the most beautiful and radiant creature to have walked across his field of vision in the last eighteen years. The young Redleaf girl drew her crown up in the air indignantly and eyed the gold-touched male from where she stood. The other figure introduced herself as Wren, which was a nice name and seemed to suit her features. The wildfire nodded her head in acknowledgement to the she-wolf and then fixed her gaze back on the darker male who spoke in a rather lazy manner that reminded Piper of someone she could not place in her mind. Trying to shrug all that off, the girl granted him a sugary smile and flagged her tail. “I’m Piper. What’s your name, chief?” She bobbed her head in the direction of the only member who had not offered an introduction. RE: And not a sound and no one else for miles. - Sunhawk - December 28, 2020 It wasn't every day Sunhawk was presented with two beautiful ladies that didn't want to eat him. Most of his encounters revolved around him nearly dying, or someone else nearly dying. So far in this meeting no one had lost an eye. That was good for something. He was the odd man out as each of them introduced themselves. Since neither one of them looked or smelled like the freaky blood cult he'd met a ways back, Sunny didn't see the reason to lie. "Charmed to meet ya both. The name's Sunhawk. Say... neither one of you is friends with a lady missing an eyeball, are ya.. Or into blood rituals?" |
