störrisch - Mahler - December 04, 2020

pack howl! only one round necessary, & any tag can be for visibility re: plots. outside pack tags for ref as well! <3 @Star @Asra @Sequoia @Morgana @Arcas @Thade @Astraeus @Calcifer @Marble

winter hanging stentorian in the air. mahler's breath rushed in a plume as he stood before the boulder, staring off into the wide expanse that separated rivenwood from all else. insofar as he had discovered, legion was the closest neighbor, and a fair space at that.
perfection, finally, in the seclusion of the place.
the gargoyle allowed himself a rending pierce of sensation as he though upon @Wylla, and where she had come to reside. he had not seen her in the process of relocation, and while mahler did not doubt she would return, his heart had turned near-ice to consider it now. pain muted behind the frost that claimed each of his days.
@Takiyok — he was not ready to think of her yet, how he would have searched for her after wylla's gritted words, requested that she come to his side — the cream-smudge of @Taikon deceptive beside the winterwhite when she had truly turned her back upon sagtannet.
the mountains were no more. stigmata's bones lay beneath the earth. mahler must forge ahead in his own way.
tooth-scarred muzzle lifting, baritone tilting woeful and warning into the frigid air.

RE: störrisch - Asra - December 04, 2020

Finally, did they arrive. Asra had brought the rest as she tried, though she knew there would be reluctance, and only would Star be able to convince the younger generation to join them, but there was the worry; where was @Astraeus? She could only hope that the young man had joined Mahler to the mountain and would hope he amongst them, if not, she would most likely have to infer further on finding the wandering one.

When they arrived she joined the howl in her own harmony, expression to the new Rivenwood, that they were here!

RE: störrisch - Pendragon - December 05, 2020

Moving here was such a hassle. The back and forth between the mountains and the woods would leave her with an ache she’d feel for days. It was all for good reason though; each and every rock from her collection had been safely brought to Rivenwood. Rather than add her voice to her packmate’s choir, she quietly fussed over her pebbles.

RE: störrisch - RIP Star - December 06, 2020

A new home, and with it perhaps a new chapter of her life as her children grew. People came and went and always Star had found herself sticking to merely her pack; now, even with all the wolves of Courtfall and Sagtannet who had dispersed... the matron still found herself clutching that thread wherever it pulled her. How long would she stay with Mahler? Until he gave her a reason to stop moving her paws along familiar trails. Star threw her head back for yet another claiming howl, adding it to her long list of groups that had she had watched rise- and could only think of how each inevitably, eventually fell again.

RE: störrisch - Sequoia - December 08, 2020

Sequoia heard the resounding voice of Mahler, along with several others she knew she would end up meeting when the time was convenient. She lifted her own howl with them, trying to outshine the others. In this place, she was determined to make herself known. She would push and shove and fight her way into what she wanted if it was the last thing she did.
