black & white - Vallkyrie - December 06, 2020 Together the black and white pair strode out from the burned, mucky woods and back to the lush pine forest, back to home. At least, home so much for Vallkyrie and wondered how Isadora might fit into this situation. Not long ago had Miriam came back home with two pups in tow looking for a home after their parent's deaths. Now a third, from the same group. Kyr did not wish to be hypocritical. She still did not believe there was much room for more children in their ranks, especially ones so unwilling to learn in order to do their part for the pack. Still, she had promised to bring the girl to her two former pack-mates, if anything. And now we wait here at the border, Isadora. She spoke to the girl, who likely had never had a need to wait at another's borders before. Call out for the pack's leader and for your friends. She instructed and so waited. RE: black & white - Isadora - December 06, 2020 thank you so much for starting <3 <3
Along their journey the little panda girl would talk of random things to fill the silence, regardless if Valkyrie would continue the conversation or not. She would get distracted from time to time with new things, sniffing a certain spot, looking at late-blooming flowers that were yet struck by frost, some delicious looking red berries - ad oh yeah, she would tell the woman how strange her brother looked, all colourful and stuff. How beautiful the vale is, that her favourite thing to eat was rabbit, bathing and swimming were her favourite activities, her brother's name is Joheras and her mother is Vespera, she didn't know her dad or know of his existence so she didn't bother mentioning him... going on and on random subjects that came to mind. and then, they stopped. Valkyrie spoke and Isadora immediately stopped talking herself. She spoke of the borders and the girl took a moment to sniff at the ground at all the new people she has yet to meet and some that were faintly familiar. The nub of a tail swayed, thinking this had to be Haruki and Hotaru! Me?Despite all the talking and how quickly she warmed up to the dark woman, Isadora was still a little shy - especially if it meant calling all kinds of attention to herself from a bunch of strangers. Maybe if this was the Empire it would be different, she would sing her dang heart out to them all, but this, this was a bunch of individuals and it made her nervous. O-okay.Stepping out softly in front of Valkyrie, she howled - not the best howl ever as her nerves got the better of her... but she did it. Hoping that the leader along with the prince and princess would just poof, appear right in front of her... and yet she waited. RE: black & white - Hotaru - December 09, 2020 Day by day, life dragged on, and though the Empire had been gone for some time now, the events still felt as if they had happened yesterday. Hotaru felt tired, maybe it was the darkness of the forest, a heaviness that brought on an eternal night, even when the sun shone through. She'd give anything for a taste of her old life back...and it seemed that someone out there continued to look out for her.
A call sounded from the borders, weak, but familiar. Usually she paid no mind to the calls, they were never for her here, but this one she knew, and it had called for her. Rising from her paws, Hotaru bounded quickly in the direction of the call. When she reached the edges of the forest she was greeted by the sight of her new caretaker along with a familiar face, even if she too had grown bigger, Isa?She was still around? For once it felt like the future could be hopeful, and the tail swaying at her hocks showed it. RE: black & white - Mal - December 09, 2020 Post so I don't forget.. Again. XD
Thankfully this was all before the megadrama! So when Mal heard the howl he just trotted right on over and arrived not long after without being as gloomy as a stormcloud. But he wasn't sure what he'd been expecting. An adult, probably? Not Kyr here? So, his overall reaction on seeing them was his usual curiosity. Well, kids were coming out of the woodwork? But given the fact the two children had been called and Hotaru's reaction when he arrived on the scene, the black and white girl was also from that pack. Well, what do we have here?He said, kind of bemused, but looking to Kyr. Felt like some sort of weird repeat of earlier, but he hoped this would be a lot less... dramatic than last time. RE: black & white - Vallkyrie - December 17, 2020 And so she would listen to the girl quietly, only asking little questions here and there which would leave Kyr with a flood of more information on the pup she traveled with until they arrived at Neverwinter's borders and the huntress asked her to call out for their lead. There was a silent nod from the huntress, jutting her muzzle outward as though giving her a little 'go ahead'. She howls out, broken with uncertainty but Vallkyrie smiles her acceptance none the less. Perhaps the other two that were under her charge didnt plan to stay or learn to make themselves of good use to their pack but maybe she could put more use to Isadora. First,Hotaru arrived who happily came to them, tail waving and maybe even a bit shocked they had found one another again. Then, Mal. She couldnt help but smirk, those icy eyes rolling. Yeah yeah, they had enough pups and Kyr probably knew it better then the rest of them, but what was a girl to do? Another homeless pup from the Empire. She tried to hold back the sarcastic tone. Cant find her mother, and she woke up and everyone was 'gone'.And father? Who knew. If Isadora mentioned everyone else in her family savor him, clearly it was because there was none to mention. Isadora,She directs the plucky girl, to pull her out of whatever spill she might have given Hotaru, This is Mal, Alpha here in this forest. RE: black & white - Finín - December 17, 2020 cameo!(unless addressed) lemme know if you'd rather him not be here and i'll delete!
it was the spectre that had led him to the treeline, her who had made a guttering flame out of the mild spark of curiosity the call had dredged up within him. but seeing her, someone who in finín's mind was still not truly a member of neverwinter, especially not if she was so haughty like her brother; approach the edge of the twisting gloom with such eager steps,,,he could not resist trailing after waiting a good few moments lest he be caught and accused of following. there was already a small group clustered within the eddying shifts of light when finín arrived, squinting against the stab of that glare the trees did such a good job at protecting them from. he could make out val and papa, and the ghost girl; a couple of steps closer to catch sight of what it was that had brought this about yet careful to stick close to the shade. ears leaned forward, catching his packmate's reponse to papa just as he grimaced in surprise at the being they spoke of. another child from that empire, and of course...predominantly white yet with the strangest strikes of darkness trying to provide a soothing relief from the unorthodox alabaster she was cursed with. what did they all want? a shoulder leans against the cool bark of a tree as he scowls at the reunion, half hopeful her arrival meant that the other two could leave with her but already doubting it. mal just loved kids, didn't matter who they belonged to. frigid eyes slid slowly towards his father, hating his need to hear what he'd say, see how he'd handle this. and even moreso hating that want, that stupid flicker of hope that the wood's alpha would say that he couldn't take on responsibility for more youngsters, not when he hardly had time to 'deal with' his own abundance. especially when the boy knew such a wish would only lead to that familiar sting of bitter disappointment. RE: black & white - Isadora - December 19, 2020 Her heart beat viciously in her chest as the call rang out, how awful it felt to hear her own voice echo in the distance as this was the first time she had ever really "heard herself". It was strange, she didn't know if she should love the way she sounded or hated it with every fiber of her being. Eventually, the call faded as she sunk into silence by the dark guardian's side. 'Isa?' She recognized the voice immediately, soot ears shooting up and forward with her head desperately trying to find the figure who called out to her. Once spotting the princess, Isadora lept for joy. Hotaru! If she could fly, she was as close as it gets by how far off the ground he bounded toward the young leader. I finally found you! With help, but that was obvious enough for her not to need mentioning it, right? How have you been? Are you well? Where is Haruki?Once again exploding in questions while all she wanted to do was snuggle up to the violet-eyed beauty, to brush her cheek against Hotaru's in absolute bliss. Someone else came and Isadora just glued herself to Hotaru's side if allowed, as if should she stopped touching the princess, she would just fade away like a dream. Eyes darting to Valkyrie who was quick for introductions, Mal, their leader. It is a pleasure to meet you, sir Mal.She stepped away from Hotaru (again, if she was allowed to remain so close before) to offer a quick polite bow as if he was some royalty too. He led a pack, didn't he? Even if the title wasn't the same, he had to be something like a King here or what not. |
