Pebble Peddler - Calcifer - December 07, 2020 Backdated to early pack move. Up to you on the specifics @Marble.
Calcifer was no longer a very young pup, but he was still too young to really understand what was going on, or at least the reasons behind it. The pack was once again moving territories and just when he was starting to get over leaving their first territory. Every time they moved it seemed that few and few wolves stayed with them. They should have all just stayed in the same place, Calcifer thought, that way there would be more friends for him to make. But if he was being honest he hadn't been able to make many friends within the pack, except for his sister, but she didn't count. Marble was more than a friend, and it was because of this that he tolerated being her pebble peddler from time to time. With varying stones in his mouth, he couldn't speak clearly as he tried to ask her where they were going, but it came out "wah weh goain?" RE: Pebble Peddler - Pendragon - December 07, 2020 Like her older brother, Marble wasn’t thrilled about the move. She had her own reasons (rocks are one thing. Being forced to change a constant in her life was another), none of which she said aloud or outwardly fussed about it. No matter what she did, it wouldn’t change the fact that they needed to move for whatever reason. It’s out of her paws. Unfortunately. At least Calcifer made the process go more smoothly. Without the extra hand, she probably would’ve gotten close to blowing her top. Transporting precious cargo was a hefty task, so it was nice to throw some of the work onto her brother. Marble had barely even looked at Calcifer since they had left the mountain. She was much to focused on the task at hand. But now that they arrived at their destination and her kin addressed her (tried to at least), she acknowledged him. She turned towards him, patted the earth with one paw, and gestured to the woods surrounding them. Here. She gently placed her bundle of rocks she had carried near her paws, sat down, and let out a sigh. RE: Pebble Peddler - Calcifer - December 21, 2020 The way the pebbles were situated in his mouth he felt as though he might swallow one. But the one near the back of this throat was too large to actually slide down his throat. That didn't stop the irritating sensation it created in the back of his mouth. When Marbles finally patted the group and gently set her finding on the ground it gave Cal the go-to purge. If Cal had ever seen a house cat throwing up a hairball he would know exactly what he looked like when he dropped his pebbles to the ground. He opened his mouth and the pebbles fell to the ground, but what followed was a series of flemmy coughs. Luckily for Marble, her brother was kind enough to turn to the side and heave, rather than right on top of her treasure trove. It didn't look pretty, but what was he supposed to do about it. "What makes these ones so special again?" he asked trying to playdown his display. |
