Breeding Rules Clarification - Noki - December 08, 2020

After a conversation in the Discord regarding breeding and some misinformation I was given last year, I am just trying to clarify some questions I had in regards to PMs and their packs for puppies.

From my understanding now, a couple needs to meet MERs to breed and must get PM/CM permission to get pregnant.

My next question that is still fuzzy is about non-surviving puppies. Should stillborns count toward pack numbers and fill up puppy slots? Personally, I don't think so. Puppy slots should be for surviving puppies since any toon who dies on the site are taken off any pack rosters - so the same treatment should go to non-surviving puppies who most likely won't even have an account if it is planned by the parent for character development.

If so, how long does that puppy take up a pack slot for? It would just make it simpler to make puppy slots in packs being filled by surviving puppies.

This is my personal understanding: if the puppy is dead within the first week*, it is not counted toward the packs 8-puppy limit.

I have done this in the past (look up “Derp”). He had an account, made some posts, but died very early on.

* or whatever the GB states, it might be two or four weeks; I can’t remember.
