to say the least, i'm into you - Antha - December 13, 2020

Dawn over the Watch, but Antha is already long awake, obsessing over the last fading vestiges of a vision; a few moments of sight into the other world, the realm of past and future, of dreams and nightmares. It is rare to know which is which, unique in her gift among the women of her immediate family; in these matters, she is untrained. But whatever she'd seen, she knows it involves the pale leader she has chosen to follow.
When light starts to creep over the land, she seeks Belenos (@Stjornuati) with a purpose to her stride. She isn't ready to mention her vision, not now and maybe not ever — but it is high time that they speak. There is no hesitation in her greeting when she finds him; she draws up alongside him with a series of nips along his jaw, mindful of her place as his subordinate in the subtle ways that matter yet ever full of fire.

RE: to say the least, i'm into you - Stjornuati - December 18, 2020

A light breeze kept the ísblóð company in the cold light of of the morning, bird song not yet breaking the frost upon the trees. In the colder climes of his homelands, the birds of black feathers would wake with the first guard of the day but here, it seemed they were not used to such temperatures. Many of them had taken flight, heading south to warmer winds and greener trees but there were some that had stayed. D'Artagnan oft slept in a tree close to the star-eater's own den, though he had thoughts to invite the avian in when the frost remained persistent.

His thoughts broke then, an ear turning to catch the footfalls of the woman he shared a blóðbindi with. Already, he knew her presence, her heart-fire a warm presence at his side as she sidled close and preened the shortened furs of his jawline. A rumble of approval rattled his throat as his chin lifted, a subtle acceptance of her display before he drew his muzzle along her shoulder, inhaling the scents that clung to her. Only the boy, only the Watch. A sound came from deep in his chest, paws shifting to carry him further up the precipe that he oft ascended, a silent invitation given to the valkyrja.
