There's nothing left, but I'm not leaving - Āzon - December 25, 2020

Sooooo sorry for the wait! Gonna backdate this to the 19th for timelines sake ^-^

The cold air burned in his lungs and the snow became thicker against the earth as days turned to nights. Winter was coming in stronger every day, but Āzon was lucky enough to have been birthed and raised in the tundras – otherwise, the phoenix wouldn’t have been able to continue this journey in the first place. Moonspear and the Caldera down, his next stop was either Neverwinter or You….yue…..you-e-long….Whatever the fuck the pack was called. All the prince knew was that he needed to head down the coast and find an island.

Continuing with his brisk walk, Ignis would begin wincing and soon came to a stop as he noticed a cramp in his haunches. Well, it was not like he stopped to rest in a couple of hours anyhow, so that was on him. Thankfully, he was soon to stumble upon an open space in the fields and, with an exhausted sigh, settled neatly on his rump. The resting place should give Azon enough time to think about where he’d be going next – just as long as the cold snow didn’t make his ass grow numb…

RE: There's nothing left, but I'm not leaving - Gunhild - December 30, 2020

you're good, sorry for the wait on this reply! gonna be vague about her timeline for now.

day found the nomad ranging south. whips of dead grass lashed her with icy barbs as she loped across glens and grasslands that had once been verdant, lush. to any distant onlooker it would have been easy to confuse the winterwhite with a polar bear galloping through the snow, stranded and lost from her tundrian home.

incidentally, she'd slowed to a leisurely canter sometime before she happened across him - his pale, still form hidden amongst the brumal scenery. there was a jaunty bounce in her heavy steps as her ivory crown fell back, extending on her toes as she lightly snapped at maj's talons playfully. a teasing snarl rippled from her throat as the strix snatched at the yukon's ears in retribution, flapping her wings twice to glide out of gun's reach.

solveig shook her head, ruffling her thick cloudpelt as she slowed to a walk - sapphires trailing along the icy branches of the low brambles. the spearwife eyed a few clumps of frozen berries with a hungry eye but couldn't be certain if they were the same as the ones near roskilde.

her steps stuttered, head drawing up alertly as she halted just before rounding a bend in the chilled brush. there was a break in the bushes and a small clearing, her gaze meeting the mismatched orbs of the male residing within. for a moment, the girl only stared - shocked that she'd been caught unaware, as careful as she usually was.

she could've slipped away or fled, she supposed. but it was not her way. völsung wolves did not flee from conflict.

"hallo," the icebear murmured instead, head ducking to avoid the foliage as she shouldered her way into the clearing with slow, cautious steps. she remained a few steps away, posture neutral as she regarded him with impartial cerulean.
