siren song - Poltergeist - December 22, 2020 The river was ablaze. Her snout lowered to the water, expecting hellfire but feeling the icy chill associated with winter. She lifted her skull, one ear pinned against it before it flickered back to life. Roaming the coast was growing dreary by the day. She wondered if anyone would miss her - this would sent a maddened cackle through the silent air. Miss her? More like get rid of her would be the pinnacle of their day! If they had clothes, they would strip and make merry at her departure. The thought was sensual and excitable all at once. For whatever happened at Sapphique, she found she did not care. Already bored, already moving on to the next best thing for herself. And only herself. The spook roamed the ice fire river, up and down. Side to side. Back and forth. She found nothing of particular interest until the new scent send shivers down her spine. Female. Her pale eyes turned, seeing nothing but the approaching frame. |
