Your fingertips could torture - Skoll Almir - January 19, 2021

Takes place around 3 in the morning. Note: I asked for Skoll to be removed from PPC but decided to post this before he was officially removed. I will not be replying to this thread until he is removed from the rank, and it was more-or-less done to ensure he doesn't move to inactive when he is taken off of PPC.

Skoll found himself unable to sleep - for it simply did not come to him. This was normal, not sleeping was normal. For him, anyway. So he found himself scouring the border that lead into the meadow. Despite the cold - which was not bothering him - he was watching, making sure nothing was different, before continuing on to the next area of the same border, to mark it, watch, and continue moving.

He knew that most wolves wouldn't willingly go to a random pack's border at three in the morning. Ursus was the holder of wolves who had enemies. Skoll fully expected the possibility of someone showing up and trying something stupid while they thought the other wolves were asleep. Only, he was sure no one came. And was sure no one would show up. Things were somewhat calm, despite one of the kids going missing and one of their leaders going to hunt the kid down. Skoll had no opinion over it.

He felt like he was drifting.

RE: Your fingertips could torture - Aventus - January 24, 2021

Cold, clear air nipped at Aventus' ear tips and nose as he prowled across the valley, reminding him that this hour was not for wolves. He ignored it, working his muscles to ward off the shivering that rattled his bones. Restlessness kept him from being able to settle down in the snow and find the peace of sleep, and so he marched, mulling over how he might get Evien alone and defenseless.

The lofty beanpole of a wolf's silhouette at the borders could be only one. Aventus paused a moment, a lingering black spectre against a drift of snow, then headed for Skoll. He drew alongside the taller guardian silently and stalked at his side for a distance without saying anything, then abruptly turned his muzzle to attempt to gather scents from the sentry's coat.

If you were told to kill someone, he softly said, how would you begin?

RE: Your fingertips could torture - Skoll Almir - January 25, 2021

Skoll did hear the young wolf approaching, for the most part, anyway. He didn't turn his head in that direction, heterochromatic eyes focused on watching the land in front of him. Surely no one would be out this late, not with the moon out and the colder nights being here. Except for wolves from Ursus, he mused, when Aventus came closer and stood next to him. Those kids were bad luck. Skoll wasn't sure if he wanted to be standing alone with one of them. Still, he had no other choice at this point, noticing the nose of the kid getting closer to his pelt to sniff at him.

What was Aventus trying to find?

The hair on his neck nearly stood on end when Aventus asked the question. Who was he trying to kill? Who instructed him to kill someone? There was only a few wolves he could think of, spanning to the two who made the pack in the first place. The raven one couldn't talk, and Merrick basically controlled everything. Dangerous.

"It depends on who it is." He decided.

Dangerous.
