[IC Joining] ice on snow - Azar - September 16, 2014
RE: [IC Joining] ice on snow - Tuwawi RIP - September 17, 2014 The scent of feline musk lingered in the air as Tuwawi performed an agitated patrol around Duskfire's new borders. However, her reconnaissance was cut short when an enigmatic howl rang in the air. At once, Tuwawi moved into a brisk gallop, weaving through the trees and glens as if she had lived there for many years. Even though this wood was still foreign, it already felt like home. A white figure perched herself politely at the borders where the trees thinned. Bazi?! Tuwawi thought, surprised that the young leader would travel the whole way here. What for? Was there news? However, upon second glance, the plush alabaster fur and sky blue eyes belonged to another woman - though the likeness was uncanny. The ember felt her heart sink a little, but slowed to a trot all the same, intent to meet the visitor. Her posture was held high with a stiff tail in the air - an unmistakable expression of ownership and dominance. She observed the stranger, evaluating her methodically from a length away. "You sit at Duskfire's borders," she stated dutifully in her usually low, crooning voice, "what business do you have with us?" RE: [IC Joining] ice on snow - Azar - September 19, 2014
RE: [IC Joining] ice on snow - Tuwawi RIP - September 21, 2014 The Duskfire alpha looked on as the pallid woman submitted with a respectful gesture. Her snowy crown tipped as her pointed ears folded to half-mist at either side. Tuwawi drew nearer, only a foot or two away, to add pressure and test this vagrant's willpower. "Azar," she parroted, comitting the name to memory, "I am Tuwawi... leader of this land besides my mate, Njal. We have planted roots here to start a new life and protect our family. Every member of this pack is committed to that cause," she told the recruit. "What skills do you poses, if any? Life near the mountains can be difficult, especially for one who had no desire to adapt or learn." Silver eyes traced Azar's fair visage as the ember stepped away to give her company room to speak and explain. The loner appeared to be strong of mind and body thus far, though that would not prevent the precautious mother from grilling her, all the same. Bright blue gaze lifted just briefly to look at the leader but not into her eyes before immediately lowering to the ground. "What skills do you possess, if any? Life near the mountains can be difficult, especially for one who had no desire to adapt or learn." The white warrior nearly laughed at that. "I came from the mountains and the sea and have lived there for a long time before leaving." she said respectfully and softly. The mountains was her home and always would be, life by the mountains might be difficult for other wolves but to her, it had been hard in the beginning but now it was easy. RE: [IC Joining] ice on snow - Tuwawi RIP - October 02, 2014 Upon Tuwawi's fiery visage sat discerning quicksilver eyes which cooly evaluated Azar's expression. So this woman came from mountains by the sea... Memories of briny air, seafoam, and reeling gulls suddenly resurfaced like smatterings of vivid paint - but never would the Sveijarn deign to live there for even a day. It reminded her far too much of the Kesuks and their god-bears; plus, the taste or saltwater and texture of sand held little appeal to the earthen woman. However, Azar's heritage held little pull regarding her pledge, for her words felt confident and true. Tuwawi couldn't help but smirk as the alabaster wolf uttered, die to protect your family. She had guts and Tuwawi was smitten by her words, but when it came down to the wire would she stick around? "Your pack mates will be the judge of your claims," Tuwawi said, bemused, "I welcome you to Duskfire, Azar." The alpha stepped forward and reached out to brush her snout against the new companion's pallid maw, breaching the gap between strangers to craft new familial bonds. |
