The fawn agouti was a little more sure-footed as she left the Spine behind to explore the depths of the Weald for a second time -- figuring even if she did wind up lost that she'd eventually find her way out again, the forest couldn't be that big if the sea lay to the north of it as Kukutux had said. She was curious to know what secrets the fog-draped timberland held in its mists, her apprehension unable to keep her from returning for long.
The doe trotted along with a little more confidence in her steps, though her ears still tipped back slightly and her green gaze swept the silver depths of the forest for any threats as she searched for the animals that called the Weald home.
