afternoon phase - Ivev - September 17, 2014 all welcome ^^ A steady pulse beat in her head, water lapping at granulated sands. Ivev peered through the tough green dune grass, enjoying the constant rhythm of the sea. It was like it's breath, a smooth and fluid respiration motion that seemed to be immortal. Her white fur was stung with the sharp sea-breeze, blue eyes closing to a slow crescent as she enveloped the cool air. She wondered if the sea would freeze here like it did back north, or would the choppy waves break through any semblance of ice? Her eyes scanned the coastline. At this low tide, it seemed peaceful enough, with smooth rocks exposed and small tidal pools nestled between them. Slowly, she crept down the grass bank, and across the beach. Her paws sank deep into the slightly moist sand as she padded to a small pool and peered inside. RE: afternoon phase - Mordred - September 17, 2014 He was gradually growing stronger. Every day he could walk a bit farther, with more of the vigor had before. With the princely, no, kingly posture he once owned. It marveled him how quickly he could recover from the sea. Even though he was tossd around, battered, on top of his previous injuries, he was still making a rather quick recovery, on the outside at least. His internal bleeding prompted him to cough up blood when he exerted himself too much, and that could be even the brisker walking paces. So today, he kept a slow, easy pace along the coastline. The dark gray male saw the tidal pools that formed from the ocean's constant beat. The Dread Knight walked over to one of the pools, hoping to find one of the crustaceans that resided oftentimes inside them when he saw another wolf peering into the depths. He stepped back, a bit startled by her arrival. He hadn't seen her or sensed her? "Ah, good afternoon, my Lady." RE: afternoon phase - Ivev - September 18, 2014 Peering into the depths of the tidal pool revered a strange image for the small white she wolf- instead of a clear base of sand, she saw a reflection of herself, rippled by a slight wind. Her own blue eyes had a match in the surface, seeming to stare right into the pupils of the ones locked inside her head. It was a strange, ethereal beauty, water. Ivev was not enthralled by seeing her psychical appearance in the crystal ball of a pool, but the fact that she was seeing the effect of herself on nature. She long knew that wolves were a vital angle to the health of mountains and woods, but the ocean had treated her with a small omen- that this brief image of her, a small representative for the entire wolf population, would soon be swept away by tides rolling in a sea-green foam. That her kind were not a permanent fixture in the grand plan of nature, and were subject to the whim of the world. The arctic female had stepped away from the pool when she glanced over her shoulder to acknowledge the advancing male. She had guessed the beach would be a popular area, and the stranger confirmed it. He was neutral and addressed her in a polite tone, one with the wolf could only respond in kind to. And to you, traveler. Are you a beach goer? |
