TEEKON HIGHLAND GAMES: 100 Yard Dash - Blair - May 20, 2021

The NPC Riza will be conducting this game, as well as announcing winners.

Once the games opener had been completed, Blair and his helpers all took off to perform their roles as each game's conductor and helping those out where it was needed. For this game, Riza was initiating the 100 yard dash. She would wait for others to gather to go over the rules.

The course itself was an easy set up, using long branches limbs to indicate running lanes for each wolf. Stones at the start of the course laid perpendicular on either end to the lanes indicated the start and finish lines. At the end of the course was three different turtle shells of different sizes. These sizes indicated first, second, and third place.

The gravel itself in the quarry would provide ample traction even with the lanes being cleared just a little bit. It also presented quite a slip hazard if one wasn't careful. Riza had taken the time to brush out the lanes herself so it was free of loose gravel, but there was always the off chance of one getting away somewhere.

Once she made sure the course was ready, Riza awaited her potential sprinters with a smile, itching to run the course herself. She would have to anyway to ensure the wolves got their tokens and no funny business was had.

RE: TEEKON HIGHLAND GAMES: 100 Yard Dash - Vallkyrie - June 01, 2021

Running of course was one of a pawful of things the huntress did best, so when she was listed the different challenges to be had, Kyr made a note to partake in this event most of all. She came along after Riza was finished setting up and offered a 'woof' in greeting to the woman as she neared.

Looks good. She mentioned on behalf of the different paths that were made up for each wolf to run within and the rocks which Vallkyrie could only assume meant starting and stopping points. Leaning back on her for legs, she stretched and gave a lazied yawn. Now they needed only but wait for anyone else interested to gather.

RE: TEEKON HIGHLAND GAMES: 100 Yard Dash - Calcifer - July 05, 2021

Oberver. Feel free to skip when needed. Willing to participate if low turn out :)
The first game of the day was the 100 Yard Dash. Calcifer was no fool. He was huge, and with that came some disadvantages. One typically being a lack of speed, however, made up for in what advantage his size gave him. But as this was the first game Calcifer thought it would be valuable to observe and see how the events would be held. To both inform him and give him a potential benefit in the games to come, but also to see what types of wolves this event would bring out of the woodwork.

Calcifer was always eager to meet a new face, and this seemed an optimal time to do so. With all of that in mind, he gave a gentlemanly nod in the direction of Riza then proceeded to take a seat along the side of the race track. He wanted to have a good view. He watched as others arrived, stretched, and readied themselves for the game.
