TEEKON HIGHLAND GAMES: Parkour - Blair - May 20, 2021 NPC Kline will be conducting these games!
Kline loved parkour. Sometimes much more than food or socializing with others it seemed like. Jumping from rock to rock without slipping off and finding the fastest way to travel was always exciting. Thankfully in the quarry, there was plenty of opportunity to make a course to follow. It took a little bit of time, but eventually Kline was able to map out the course from one end to the other where the prizes would be waiting. The course was simple; jump from rock to rock without falling off. Each stone was marked with a small rounded stone on the top. The rounded stone was from the river and looked vastly different to the rocks in the quarry. Some of the jumping rocks were larger than others, and some would present a challenge with placing one's feet. Whatever the case may be, it would be a game of skill, coordination, and agility. There was not just one course either - this would be a race to the end! At the end of the course were three large sea shells of beautiful colors. Each size indicated what someone would place when they reached the end of the course. Kline practiced on some of the stones as he waited, testing his own might against all odds, and determining whether or not he was out of practice. RE: TEEKON HIGHLAND GAMES: Parkour - Antares - June 17, 2021 Half following a trail on Vallkyrie, and eventually drawn by the curious howls of earlier, Antares had inevitably closed in on the happenings of the Highland Games. With nothing more pressing to devote his time to, and a lot of ranging done to quell that itch, he had little to lose here and plenty of distraction to gain--so he appeared, mostly to come check it out, but willing to stick his nose in a bit of friendly competition, too. He did not end up finding the Archer he sought originally, but he did find the quarry, and the wolf poised for a course there--seemingly practicing some maneuvers already. With his ears flicked forward, Antares approached with his interest clear on his casual posture, having put it together that this was certainly.. something. He decided on today's whim that he may as well, so he tipped his muzzle in a short nod to the stranger, and glanced beyond him to what was to be the route, all already marked. RE: TEEKON HIGHLAND GAMES: Parkour - Calcifer - July 05, 2021 Oberver. Feel free to skip if needed. Willing to participate if low turn out :)
The last event of the day was about to commence and Calcifer was eager to see this whole thing through. He had encountered and seen so many new faces this day and he was beginning to understand what Mahler was saying them he spoke about there being a whole other world outside of Rivenwood. The last event was a parkour course. Something Calcifer thought wouldn't be in his best interest. He was large and often clumsy with his weight. He often did things the leisurely and slow way rather than the quick and nimble way. Still, as he approached the course and watched Kline hopping around from rock to rock, a smile came across his face to see something enjoying themselves so much and displaying an intriguing level of agility. He sat to the side and watched as others approached. He intended to watch from a distance and perhaps walk or jog along the outside of the course to watch as the others partook. |
