I know that you got daddy issues - Kynareth Deagon - June 10, 2021

Kyn knows his strength is becoming unmatched. With so many years of training and fighting, he knows his skills are well honed. His teeth are sharp and constantly desire blood, but he is deprived of it. He seeks war. It is the only thing that will truly satisfy him.
But a spar is the only thing realistically in his grasp right now.
So he seeks out his long time spar partner. A howl falls from his lips. Nyra. An invitation to spar silently spoken.

The Queen answers quickly.
Being within the vicinity, she perked her ears at the familiar howl and took off at a slow run.
Through trees, over a stream or three, eventually Nyra saw her co-lead and came to stand in front of him with a firm stance. A smirk made its way up her maw "Spar?"

“Spar.” He confirms with his own mischievous smirk.
Then he acts. Bounding towards her, smile still plastered to his face, he prepares for an attack. Lunging outwards to try and snap at her shoulder before attempting to hop back in defense.

Then an action.
She's already waiting.
As Kynareth leaps for her shoulder, Nyra attempts to meet him chest to chest, aiming her teeth for the broad of his neck as his teeth met her shoulder. If she landed, she'd shake violently - a method she had taken note on from him in the past.

His lunge brings him into the danger zone. While his teeth meet her shoulder, hers meet his neck. She shakes. He spreads his paws out on the floor to get more grip, moving with her to prevent less pain.
Moving into action, he lowers his hocks and wraps thick arms and paws around her neck to try and wrestle her to the ground.

She doesn't want to let go. Feeling his teeth on her skin fueled her fire, and she growled as she felt his forearms try to bring her down.
But perhaps it could work in her favor...
Nyra allows him to swing her to the ground, but in the same motion, the Empress attempts to grip his shoulder in her teeth, for an even bigger attempt to throw him over with hind paws going for his gut.

Surprisingly, she goes down without much of a fight. He knows that’s suspicious. His concerns show to be true. As he moves on top of her, he feels her hind feet make contact with his midsection. He tries to fight her off with a bite to her scruff and a kick to her hocks but —
Uh oh.
She’s flipping him over and he lands on the other side with a huff of breath and a cough. A smile weaves itself onto his lips despite the loss.

As Kynareth lands opposite of her, she laughs with him as he regains his breath.
Easily, Nyra rolls back on her feet and looks at her co-lead, tail swaying with friendship

Kyn allows her the victory — like he often does. Honestly, he’s okay with losing to her. One, it’s hot. Two, he’s got a soft spot for her. So his own tail wags against the ground as he rolls himself to his feet.
“Come, darling, it’s patrol time.” He hums with a bump to her shoulder. They always usually go on patrols after spars anyway. It’s a good cool down walk. (And a good excuse for him to spend more time with his beautiful Overseer.)
