the skies taste like summer wine - Ingram - June 11, 2021 decided to take this guy off of ppc. open to anyone!
worripa basks in the warmth of the sunshine as it brushes against the dark fur of his back. the morning is hot, humid even and he feels the press of the soupy air ...detectable from the coolness that radiates from the dark mouth of the den he shares with his mother and siblings. from the den, @Praimfaya watches hawkeyed and surly and itching to patrol again — though his mother's often mercurial mood goes unnoticed by him. he chases a fat, brown grasshopper through the emerald grass, clumsy as he pounces; unknowingly sharpening instincts by the simple game of chase, despite that the grasshopper was much cleverer than him and kept eluding him in bounds and leaps. RE: the skies taste like summer wine - Malila - June 12, 2021 Feel free to chase her off. Malila ain't exactly experienced with pups. <3
Malila had been minding her own business. It was by chance and nothing more that she had been passing by Praimfaya's den that day. She would be lying if she said she wasn't slightly curious about the young pups. With a bundle of roots in her mouth, that very same grasshopper had inadvertently came in her direction. One hop later, and it had landed atop a single blonde paw. RE: the skies taste like summer wine - Ingram - June 13, 2021 worripa, wrapped in the ultimate illusion of blissful youth and safety of his mother's watchful eye ( even if she was harboring regrets about having children ) was not of the age yet where his instincts were hone for danger. he harbors a mellow approach to all things unknown — mainly composed of childish curiosity and little else. baby blue gaze follows the grasshopper as he mimics the insect's hops, stumbling back in confusion and blinking up at the woman who's blonde paw the fat, green bug landed upon. the movement of the insect hopping off and into the fortress of emerald grasses captures worripa's attention but the stranger blocking his path — thus ending his hunt — demands it more. he doesn't know her. she is not mother, not sister, not the dark pelaged mahler of whom ( out of nature and his own unawareness that such was not the case ) worripa sees as father though he has no word for it. a secondary parent; presence almost as common as praimfaya's own. heeii!worripa chirrups the greeting in trigedasleng, tail wagging behind him. RE: the skies taste like summer wine - Malila - July 02, 2021 Just as quickly as the grasshopper had landed on her paw, and it sprung away again, into the blades of grass. She wondered if the dark little boy would teeter off in pursuit, or find her the new object of his attention. Soft eyed, she marveled at the mere sight of him. He was so tiny! It was hard to imagine that she had ever been so small once. Unfamiliar with the native tongue that came to him so naturally, Malila could only assume it was a basic form of saying hello. The word sounded close enough. Her tail mimicked the movements of his own, waving gently in the air. "Hello handsome one." She crooned in her light, sweet voice. Just then, while one insect had vanished, another appeared. It came fluttering down to land on her toe, a beautiful beetle painted in red with classic black dots. A ladybug, fanning its wings gently before settling. |
