summer sun - Aiolos - July 30, 2021 Out from the depths of the great lake does Aiolos hoist a large silvered fish, his neck muscles aching so as the battle for its freedom ensued. The torn muscle and tissue from @Kynareth would not be forgotten, in times as these. Though it was less noticeable in sight, only to be short when his neck is shown off- of shortened hairs like those on his legs where the fur did not properly recover. Bringing the fish to dry land, he releases it to end its torment. A well meal for one of the pregnant female's under his watch. Despite any position Kukutux may have given him, he had always been a man to have a high drive to guard, especially that of women- that of those in higher regard then himself. He sits, taking a moment to rest after his hunt. A deep breath, he looks out over the lake waters, warm with the afternoon summer sun- the trees beyond, the low mountains beyond that. It was all his to protect, now. RE: summer sun - Lunaria - August 02, 2021 Moonglow was much bigger than the outside let on to seem, and beneath it's surface lied a whole wilderness ready to be explored by her own hand. The little raven had already been here in Moonglow for quite some time, but on the days where she wasn't hunting to earn her fill, she was getting settled by her lonesome. Luna was still too fidgety about going to search for Keyni despite sharing the same roof -- and for now there would be no telling when she'd ever find the courage to do so. Only to procrastinate for much longer. On her journey which spanded the area near the lake's expanse, the smell of fish blood fuled her nostrils and drew Luna closer. The sound of violent flapping coupled with a wolf's own fumes led her to believe that a catch was recently made. She was rather envious on whoever had made the catch, as the moon nymph's own poor fishing skills put a damper on her pride as a huntress. Then again, maybe it wouldn't exactly hurt to ask for some assistance catching her own every once in a while... You are Adrastus!, Am I correct?" The huntress called out as she approached, offering a friendly wave of her tail as she came closer to the man whose back was turned towards her. She remembered the man @Kukutux had told her to seek out during her acceptance, but in not knowing anyone here, that search was a job that was bound to lead towards many mistakes. Ecspecially when she hadn't yet noticed how farmiliar this man's red coat was, or how their scent only slightly reminded her of a distant past... RE: summer sun - Aiolos - August 02, 2021 His gingered ears perked high and he lifts from his sit to turn around to the young woman coming into his direction. A shake of his crown, he answers, You are not. I am Aiolos. He corrects with a small smile. Adrastus...His lips purse, Has been missing for some time... It has been hard on some.Kukutux and Lote he knows mostly. The pack lacking its 'leader of men' as it were, put the pack at unease. Fortunately for the time the pack was mostly of women which Kukutux lead well. She looked familiar to him... Had he met her before? It was not that she was a dark wolf with contrasting pale blue eyes which sparked his memory. He had met wolves of similar looks before. It was the x marked scar which covered the front of her chest which jogged his mind. Your scar...He mused, muzzle lowering to gesture to it. The hunters mark, right? He didn't remember her name but, he did remember that. RE: summer sun - Lunaria - August 05, 2021 Her question was rejected, which would've been much to her disappointment, because geez. she's been searching for this guy all week, if it weren't for the events to follow. As he turns his body around to face her, whisky tinted hues meeting her own, she stops in her tracks. That small hint of recognition went virtually ignored and brushed off as a coincidence at first, but that wasn't possible now. His face, his voice, his name even the mention of her scar that Luna had told none other than them about -- yes, it was a memory distant enough to forget, but how could Luna ever forget the first people she'd ever met upon her arrival to the Teekons? Just in case, she squinted her owlish gaze and drew closer to get a better look. and she beamed right back up again. "OH MY GOSH AIOLOS HI!" the moon nymph yipped with about as much excitement as a pup. Like an axe her tail swayed, and with rhythm her paws danced in place -- it had been too long since she'd ran into Yuélóng's lead scout. They had much to catch up on... RE: summer sun - Aiolos - August 12, 2021 Bright seagreen eyes narrow on him, the wheels turning, recognition as she double checked herself with a sudden burst of energy as she dances in place. The burnished man laughs, tail waving wildly as well and nose extending to sniff at her to fill in the gaps of his memory. It's been a long time, hasn't it?He says through his chuckle, dismissing how he had forgotten her name for now. Was it something to do with the sky...?? But he did remember her mark and the way she had looked upon the ocean with awe and wonder when seeing it for the very first time. I see we both have found a new home here in Moonglow. Where had your travels led you, after the Sea? |
