I'm a black widow, baby - RIP Fury - August 02, 2021 forward dated for August 12th, 2021 AFTER all of Ursus has left the valley! Tagging @Kynareth Deagon
The two alphas set out before dawn. Nyra kept her ears perked, on alert. Coming to the Meadow that sprawled in front of the valley opening, it became apparent that something was absent. And upon coming to the once-borders, it was increasing clear that the bear cult had left. "They're gone." Nyra growled to her co-lead, shoving her nose into the grass and underbrush, yet the scents of the bearwolves were faint, and getting fainter. Irritated, the Empress huffed and turned her hellfire gaze all around, scanning their surroundings. RE: I'm a black widow, baby - Kynareth Deagon - August 03, 2021 The two alphas moved into Ursus’ territory, moving oh so carefully. If the two of them were caught by the pack it would fuck up their entire plan. But when they get there, it seems their entire plan has already been fucked up. Ursus isn’t there. It seems they’ve left their lovely little rats nest. He knows this because the usually overwhelming stink of wolf is faded. So faded he suspects they left quite some time ago, but still prevalent enough for Kyn to sketchily take a guess at when they did. How lucky of them. He thinks. This couldn’t have been better timing. They’re gone. Nyra says tersely. Kyn hums back a sound of acknowledgment as he too looks about the entrance to their valley. “Seems so.” He answers back before moving further into the territory. “Now,” The Grandmaster begins with a heavy sigh. “we have to fucking find them.” It’s said with a sneer and a upwards crinkling of one side of his muzzle. He drops his massive head, trying to smell anything he can, but the scents are blurred together and horribly faded. He gets nothing. “We will go to other packs. Search high and low. Ask strangers in passing. We will also wait for @Ramesses and @Satsu to check in with us. They might have found something on their travels.” Kyn looks back to Nyra with a partially stern look. “I will send a few others to scout the nearby areas. And make sure you’re nice about it when you ask strangers. The only trouble we want right now is Ursus.” RE: I'm a black widow, baby - RIP Fury - August 04, 2021 The Overseer nods once, firmly, to Kynareth's words. Once he's finished speaking and reminding her to play nice, she takes on the role of a General at least briefly. "Understood." She rumbles, moving to further investigate while they're here. RE: I'm a black widow, baby - Kynareth Deagon - August 05, 2021 Understood. He nods once and follows her further in. Looking about the territory and taking in the sights. Truly, the Valley is nice. He’s never seen it from the inside, but the towers trees and pretty little streams that flow through it are a nice touch to the crescent mountains surrounding it. As they move, Kyn looks back to Nyra. “Do you know of any packs that are close to us? It would be wise to visit one in question. Maybe send someone sweet looking like arlette or something.” He chuckles at the end. RE: I'm a black widow, baby - RIP Fury - August 05, 2021 Other packs. Easthollow. The only pack she remembers that was out here besides Ursus. Turning her head to her co-lead, she voices this. "Easthollow. They lived on the other side of the Valley's mountains if I recall." She muses the suggestion, unaware that the pack and Greyback had perished over the post year. RE: I'm a black widow, baby - Kynareth Deagon - August 05, 2021 Kyn hums back in response to her mentioning Easthollow. “Hmm, that’s right.” A confirmation then. “We’ll stop by since it’s close.” Then another light bulb goes off. A pack he cannot remember lives in the bypass north of here. A cruel woman made of stone he and Derg met. He wonders if they’re still there. He can hardly remember their name now, but he turns to Nyra. “There’s also a pack in the bypass a day or two north of here. We should go there too.” He adds before sighing. “Let’s go to Easthollow, there’s nothing for us here.” Business is concluded, time to roll out. |
