Fall, fall, fall - Foxfur - August 09, 2021
An owl cried a haunting call into the forest. Mice scurried to safety beneath leaves. The trees shivered against raindrops and the wind upon which they flew.
The masked figure of the wolf squinted. Dusty umber eyes searched through the droplets and into the foliage. There were signs of the boy. The scents were not cleaned away.
Prowling, the wolf searched for a temporary shelter from the rain.
