it was far too hot.
she had gone farther than mossbloom and ended near the shadows of the saltmarsh.
the water here was not fit to drink and she was thirsty.
mireille bemoaned her situation but moved deeper into the muck, not truly ailing and easily distracted by a pair of dragonflies.
