He knew he was close to Swiftcurrent Creek and he knew that his act might provoke the wolves there but right now, he didn't care about them. He knew that leaving Noctisardor Bypass without a Beta or another Legatus member was a bad idea but he trusted Paar to keep things going while he was gone. Even though she wasn't on Legatus yet, he was thinking about asking her whether she wanted to be Praetor beside him soon, but not yet. He wanted to enjoy the feeling of being a lone leader for some time. Bright platinum eyes scanned the meadow with a certain type of wariness, it reminded him of the meadow back in the bypass with bright wildflowers, a gentle breeze and a cool creek although this morning it was raining slightly. And back in the bypass, they had a large running river instead of a smaller Creek. He knew he should be returning home soon, he missed his crimson wife and his home away from the cursed lands but he felt like exploring again and although this was not new lands, he felt a certain thrill to being so near his former home. RE: cry havoc - Esperanza - September 25, 2014 The air was beginning to cool as fall began to come to the landscape. The once lush and vibrant green leaves, now changing to a more colorful red, gold, yellow color. Esperanza loved the season, but the more cold it was, the better for her due to her heavy coat that easily protects her from the bitter climate. Whether it would be rain, snow, sleet, etc. she was happy that she was gifted with the pelt. But, she would happen to come across a small bypass not to far, but she could scent a pack wolf, a young male no less. He seemed to be two years younger than she when she caught a glimpse of him, but he was surely handsome. His mate was surely lucky to have him. She would step out of the brush she had been hiding in and lied down on her back, revealing her stomach, "I am only passing through, I mean no harm to you," Esperanza smiled in reassurance. She was a caring wolf and didn't fight much unless threatened severely that her life was on the line. Her emerald gaze met his eyes, but she continued to smile. RE: cry havoc - Esperanza - September 26, 2014 "I am nothing but a loner, yes, but I still show respect to anyone I meet. Especially when it is an alpha who can easily kill me if so desired." She was a kind wolf and wished to not harm anyone that she had come across. He may be younger than she, but, even though he was young he still had a good probability or kill or severely hurt her if he wished to. Though, she did hope he would refrain from the action and just be a good companion or just talk. It had been a while since she had talked to anyone, especially a high ranked wolf unlike her. She was a pack wolf at one time, heck, even an alpha's daughter, but due to unfortunate events that took it away from her, she became a loner, a low rank and something that she wished she wasn't. RE: cry havoc - Shadow - September 29, 2014 "I am nothing but a loner, yes, but I still show respect to anyone I meet. Especially when it is an alpha who can easily kill me if so desired." he smiled, silver eyes bright and harsh softening just a tiny bit as he sat down beside her. "Praetor, I usually refer to myself as a Praetor since I am from a land, an Empire far away from Teekon Wilds and I plan on carrying my legacy, my bloodlines." Silver eyes studied her curiously. "Are you just passing through Teekon Wilds or do you plan on settling down here?" For some reason it always interested him whether or not wolves planned on staying, he hadn't planned on staying at first but the wilds had lured him in and now, he had a family and a good home. As long as that was going anywhere, he wasn't. Noticing two rabbits in a distance, he rose to his paws, crouched down and began stalking it. As silent as a shadow, after all how could have gotten that nickname? With the grace of a panther, he leaped and snatched one rabbit in his jaws while his claws managed to snag the other's scruff. Spitting rabbit fur out of his mouth, he snapped the other rabbit's neck and carried them back to Esperanza where he offered her one. Yes, he could be nice when he wants to. It wasn't a miracle. RE: cry havoc - Esperanza - September 30, 2014 Esperanza smiled as she would be offered a rabbit, taking it thankfully and bowing her head respectfully to the alpha wolf whom she had stood in front of. In her old pack, it was a sign of respect when a wolf would bow their head to another. Though she was thinking about her family, her stomach growled in protest of the thought as the dame tore into the delicate flesh of the small creature. Red, warm liquid ran down her throat, and she smiled as she was beginning to feel full once more. Scavengers already began to form around the two wolves. Esperanza, not having any of the varmints taking her meal, barked a warning to them, giving a small growl as well incase the bark didn't work. The varmints, taking a hint, dashed away from the wolves; Esperanza soon managing to finish her meal now. "Thank you for the rabbit, and I am thinking of joining Swiftcurrent Creek, I am told they need a healer and I am applying for the job," She would smile and soon dig a small hole, placing the bones of the rabbit inside and burying it. "Requescat in pace," she would say to the deceased rabbit and looked back up toward the sky, sometimes shifting her attention over to the brute who had offered the meal to her. RE: cry havoc - Shadow - October 08, 2014 "Thank you for the rabbit, and I am thinking of joining Swiftcurrent Creek, I am told they need a healer and I am applying for the job," He did not reveal anything, withholding his emotions, a dark sneer, a disapproving look, a cold smirk, instead tilted his head, shrugging with an impassive look on his face. "Good luck with joining the Creek, I was once a member there and well, it is a nice place to live in." he said, smiling faintly. There was no need for him to speak bad about the Creek, he didn't feel like it and it was a mere waste of time. Let this wolf decide her own fate, let her joined the cursed pack. The gods would decide her destiny, to crumble and die or to prosper. It was none of his business, really, and he didn't actually care about her. Yes, a meal of rabbit he had offered but nothing else. |
