What The Water Gave Me - Esperanza - September 27, 2014 @Viinturuth Her ebony pelt blew in the vast landscape as she bounded through the land. The sun was high in the sky, the temperature as well being a cool breeze, yet the sun yet warm enough to warm the skin underneath the fur. It was quite a relaxing day, birds flying high in the sky, calling out their own melodies as they echoed in the dame's lobes. Her salmon tongue hung from the edge of her mouth as she ran, panting slightly as a large lake appeared before her as she stood on top of a hill. Her tail swayed freely as she ran down toward the water. Once she was close, she approached and began to lap at the liquid, gulping down the cool water as she soon lied down and looked to the clouds that began to form in the sky. She smiled as the wind blew across her pelt, fur blowing in all directions as she waited for something to happen or someone to talk to. RE: What The Water Gave Me - Viinturuth Snr - September 28, 2014 Viinturuth did not know what he wanted to make of his life. As a stubborn youth his one main goal was to pursue a mate and found a pack with her. To sire offspring and live his life peacefully, far from Samarkand and Sahrotaar. To grow old and be able to look around at his strong family, and know that he had succeeded. But now, three years on and as an (equally stubborn) adult, Viinturuth was not sure if this was still the life that he wished for. Did not everyone wish to be settled? To find comfort in the form of a pack who accepted and trusted one another fully? He felt that if Chakra had remained to bind Neverwinter together again, Viin might have advanced to court her as well as reach out for the vacant alpha title at her side. She had indeed been a beauty, pristine and lovely with captivating eyes the colour of sea glass. Scimitar's certainty that she had not abandoned their pack had opened a fresh wound on his heart, and he regretted not going after her like his tawny comrade had. He wandered aimlessly, as he so often did, and the sight of an ebony wolfess captured his attention. Viinturuth paused momentarily to glance her way but, not particularly interested in making small talk with a stranger, resumed his pace and continued along the lake's shore. RE: What The Water Gave Me - Esperanza - September 30, 2014 The ebony dame would continue to focus on the water, the sun had lapped at the horizon, making it low and gentle. Her emerald eyes began to shine from the sun as it hit her optics, eyes closed as she smiled and listened to the sounds of the birds that began to land upon trees that were in a row beside her. This place surely was something to behold, and she couldn't help but widen the smile that had already stayed dormant upon her ebony maw. Her ears erect as the sounds of birds rung in her ear drums, causing them to vibrate in a comforting and pristine feeling. But, her nose would sense the scent of a male not too far from where she was located. Turning her cranium ninety degrees, she could see the brute that stood about ten yards from where she was located. His coat was dark and mysterious such as her own, and seeing he was walking away, she sighed and looked back over to where she had once been looking. All she wanted was someone she could love since she had been alone for so long, and losing her family was something she hoped she would never have to experience again. The thought of it caused her heart to break and a tear to streak her cheek and plop upon the ground below. She sighed and opened her eyes as her eyes sparkled from the tears that were forming inside of her optics. The smell of salt from the tears was somehow in her nostrils, but she pushed the scent away and stood up, beginning to walk away as well, head slightly hung low. RE: What The Water Gave Me - Viinturuth Snr - October 14, 2014 So sorry for the delay here @Esperanza - I've been giving priority to my primary character recently. :X
He eyed the dark female curiously as she looked his way and as he drew nearer, realised that something seemed to be bothering her. A solemn expression on her otherwise pretty features sparked his mild concern and although he did not particularly wish to delve into conversation with a stranger, it was not in Viinturuth's character to neglect a damsel in distress. The sable Frostfur veered veere her way, ears forward and tail lashing at his hockshocks as he contemplated the best way to go about getting the obviously emotional wolfess. "Miss," he started, pausing a short distance from her side and fixing his champagne eyes to her tear-stained cheek. "Are you alright?" |
